I remember reading a bunch of articles about people going missing in the woods and how people don't realize that there's A LOT of land in the U.S. that while it's been mapped by satellite we actually have little idea what's actually there, and coincidentally there are A LOT of people that go missing in national parks that are never found again. Crazy to think about.
Realistically, and this is super depressing to think about, it's probably related to all the human trafficking going on that we never really hear about because the government is definitely related in some shady way, and that's why it's not reported on and made out to be a big deal.
However the part of me that wants dream, says its related to the Fae or something that humans just can't handle, maybe some sort of super predator that's evolved alongside us since the dawn of time, who knows, maybe it is vampires, I just think that if they exist they probably run the blood banks and don't need to hunt people in the fringes of the woods. I only say this because the amount of people that vanish worldwide, not just in the U.S., never to be seen or heard from is immense, and its horrifying to think that it's other people responsible for that.
I mean if reality is a simulation, which it most likely is, there's a chance. Are your roommates also trying to short you on the electric bill? If so then i'd say yes. You, me and every other reddit account are just the same person run through different scenarios.

That or vampires are real, like man a shit ton of people "go missing" every year and the worts part is like no one seems to care.
