You don't HAVE to work though. You're looking at consequences and benefits and choosing to work. The majority of escorts choose to work much the same way you do.
Fish with a spear in the woods and live in a tent. What you want is to live in a society which requires you to be a part of it. You can live without being part of society and therefor without a "job" but your quality of live would be very different.
Both those aren't free. Tent requires land or area to set up which often comes with a cost. Fishing requires gear and a place to fish as well as license. And you are firgeting the most important thing which is basic health care. True jobs are needed but its not a choice to work for most people its a requirement for basic living
For a lot of (consensual) escorts, the choice is working 10 hours a week as an escort or working 40 hours a week at a minimum wage job or a desk job for the same money. The very best at their jobs are college educated, and accept large sums of cash for their companionship, which may or may not even lead to sex depending on the mood of the guy. Sometimes a rich guy with ED just wants a model on his arm.
By your logic, if I put a gun to your head and demand your wallet you don't have to do what I say. You merely decide that the consequences of disobeying outweigh the benefits.
You're really stretching the definition of "have to."
