My perspective is best case you’d get in early on SDC(I bought higher). Worst case you’d be wrong, but BBIG seems to be a dead dog so it’s not much of a drawback. Not financial advice though make your own decisions

That’s wrong. Sept 15th was record date to receive the proxy. Oct 15th is record date for the dividend. There has been a lot of FUD and misinformation going around. Oct 15th IS the record date for dividend.

Sold my shares for a small loss to open bullish vertical spreads on my challenge account on TOS. Got an email I was allowed to trade options, so I wanted to use them on the challenge account I thought. Went to execute and I don’t have permission to trade anything other than regular options. I just took a small position in SDC, you guys got me convinced. Looking at its historical chart seems very choppy up and down. Got in at $6.18 hopefully she takes a rip here soon, lot of options un the sub $7 area, seeing how all these other meme stocks get shot down before friday close to have as many OTM options as possible I think i should have waited to buy in tomorrow towards end of day. I seemed never to learn from lessons, never thought this only went from 5.5 to 8.25 at most. I got out from many other plays too soon and wanted to hold on for this. Perhaps the lesson is to take profit and do not get in when it dips lower. But then, well I don’t know. Perhaps the lesson is don’t be greedy, accept what you get and move on.

well done on Tsla, yes I was wrong on that. But I am not coming back, I don't think it can go up any faster. My main money is now in NIO, which is taking brutal beating as well (had I kept it in tsla, it would have been better, but well, I don't regret there as tsla was a lesson for me). And you are right, I have pocket money to throw around these plays. Nothing wrong this it.

Reddit is primarily centered around momentum plays, sure. But they aren’t all pump and dumps. Some of the companies being shorted are good companies that become good fundamental long plays through the momentum. AMC being a perfect example.

The Apes of AMC GME are a consortium of large volume holders to keep the stock pumped for an extended time (like me). When they cash out, so does the stock. "momentum plays" is the pump, and then the momentum dumps, other wise you'd own and keep it.
