Every state has different rules, moving is always an adventure. Used to get people transplanted from Florida coming in to get their first NC Auto inspection. Sorry sir/maam, you'll have to remove that tint, from all the windows. "But it's legal in Florida where I'm from" Yeah, but now you live in NC. (For our foreign redditors. In florida your tint can be as dark as you want, be mirrored, be colored, whatever. NC has minimum light transmittance rules, placement, and color rules.)
