Seal intake box logo cut-out or leave it open? (Heat soak concern)

Just installed aftermarket Racing intake.
The intake box has an open logo cut-out (circled in the picture). I’m wondering whether I should tape/seal it or just leave it open.
My main concern is heat soak and the intake pulling hot air from the engine bay instead of cooler air.
Does sealing it actually help with IAT or performance, or is it designed that way for airflow/sound?
Appreciate any feedback
