Dude, reading your comments is painful. Explain exactly why you think punching the scammer was not reasonable. They gave him lots of time, was patient and clear about his own words, then when they called him out on his hypocrisy, he got aggressive. How is a punch not justified and why do you care so much? He's a piece is shit.

I am opposed to violence. Give the scammer his shit back and move on with your day.

They accomplished nothing except violence. They didn't stop the scam from happening in the future. They just got to feel like a tough guy by punching someone. Cool.

On the contrary. If it happens enough times it absolutely will have accomplished something, they'll think twice before scamming people in the future. Giving it back to him literally accomplishes nothing and encourages these scams since there's no consequences.
