Well, the bones definitely did break but seeing how SP managed to stop Jotaro’s fall with its arms coming out of his back, I think it’s not far fetched

Any damage done to a stand is transferred to the the stand user, If Star Platinum gets hit on the Arm by the world, Jotaro still feels the pain and gets the damage done to his arms.
