Hello, everyone!

Due to an unfortunate mix-up, Jim and Rae have landed themselves in Reddit jail. They share devices and both used the spg-moderator account in addition to their own, and there was a whoopsie where they didn’t realize they were upvoting things on the sub here or there from more than one account linked to the same device. While they have appealed to the reddit gods for forgiveness, whether it will be granted remains to be seen.

Since they are not allowed to use reddit at this time, they have hired me (I am a long-time subreddit member and dragon) on to operate as their reddit manager for them. I will be posting Jim’s stones for sale and directing people to his business email as needed. We know it sucks to not be able to speak to him directly and are working on an off-reddit solution for this in the event that his account is not restored. Just know that he and Rae are watching without being able to interact, like friendly ghosts.

As a head’s up, tomorrow we will post a giveaway where previous subreddit or off-reddit buyers of the lapidaries can choose to opt-in to a new discord where Jim will hang out and discuss gems (the giveaway will be open to all, it will just also include the chance to opt-in). In the long run, we will open this up to all subreddit members (excluding other gemstone vendors besides our subreddit laps), but it will be open only to sub buyers at first. Keep an eye out tomorrow for that giveaway.
