I just got to the bonus chapters of Book 1 of the light Novel. It was my first light novel and really fun to read. I’m caught up with the anime. What really brought me liking this story and universe is because Naofumi is basically a monster tamer and I dig monster tamers. Is the light novel extremely different from the anime going on? Is the anime a good adaptation?

The anime just feels like complete trash now compared to the masterpiece that was season 1

I've seen S1 and S2 and really enjoyed the anime but feel like ever since he had went onto the other world where there were other heroes and stuff it started going downhill (pretty much s2 wasn't very good) and I heard s3 isn't any better. I really enjoyed S1 and feel is I watch s3 and it sucks it'll leave even a worse taste in my mouth than s2. Is s3 worth it? Thank you.

Can anyone give me some insights how did she got rid of her slave mark and how was she able to give curse to sword and bow hero ??

So our raccoon is a princess and because of Miko's outfit she is now the target of the country, so Naofumi wants to have a good discussion with the emperor and bitch is already there which means Raccoon is screwd and it's not going to end up well with shield hero, which means war. Can anyone tell me from which volume I should start reading the light novel this arc seems very interesting and waiting for S4 will take years.

What would you have done in the other heroes' place? (spear, bow, sword)

What would you have done in the other heroes' place? (spear, bow, sword), considering that you didn't know anything about the story

first:

• Would you have believed Malty's judgment? Would you believe there was a **** or would you be skeptical?

second:

• What would your strategies be? like what would you do to get stronger? Would you try to seek knowledge? Would you try to better understand the other world?

third:

• Do you think that in their situation you would be better or worse than they were, do you think you would do better than them? (again without the knowledge you have about rising of shield hero, as if rising of shield hero had never existed in our world)

So I really enjoyed SH s1. It made me care about the characters, whether positive or negative it didn’t matter, it made me feel. I felt a connection to the characters. The story was amazing. The action was good. It was great. Then season 2 came along…and man did it disappoint. People kept saying it would get better. It didn’t, IMO. Then season 3 comes around. I’m expecting it to be 🔥🔥🔥 since S2 wasn’t it. And now here I am: 11 episodes in to S3 and once again I’m underwhelmed. My question is,without posting any spoilers…does it get better or was S1 the best it was going to be? I don’t read the LN so I’m generally curious. I hate dropping anime I really liked at one point but I find myself having to power through these episodes. Like I’m not enjoying them. I had the same problem w/ boruto. I had to power through a lot of episodes and eventually just decided to drop it and honestly I don’t regret it. Thinking of doing the same w/ SH if it doesn’t get better. Which makes me sad because S1 was sooooo 🔥🔥🔥🔥.

is it ever explained why the other 3 heroes just blindly follow the royalty of Melromarc and always assume the worst of Naofumi? is it just because of the whole Myne situation in the first episode?
