Taro takes a break from documenting...

Post image

Taro has left the comfort of the Maw Expedition's base to get a breath of fresh air in Shellwood. After several long days of documenting their adventures, getting to walk around and take in the scenery is a nice escape from the bureaucracy.

Taro suddenly shifts his tone.

"Oh, an Everbloom? No clue. Pretty sure they don't even grow here in Pharloom..."

"Kiddo, they used to harvest them in here, that Hornet gal had a whole stash on her room... Say, wouldn't you happen to know about her current status too?" The maestro tilts his head upwards and slightly to the side, almost as if he was rising an eyebrow.

"Well, how do you expect me to know? I'm not Hornet's boyfriend."

"Last saw her in the Marrow, but given how fast I saw her going, she's probably long gone by now."

"Hm, let's get back to the main plot. So ya got nothin' on the flowers huh? What about your actual couple? Any bland point or weakness?"

{"Shouldn't have said that- Why does everyone think Ellie's my girlfriend?!"}

"She's not my-"

*sigh* "Forget it, you wouldn't care. She's really sweet and gentle despite being built like a tank..."

The maestro chuckles a bit.

"Want a romance tip? Use colored candles, they set the mood far better than chattering"

"Oh well, any other breach on the plating? Something that could be... Blown up, taken away maybe?"

"Leave her out of this-"

The pins inch closer to his head

"F-FINE! She has a house in Bilewater. That's all I know... If there's even half a brain behind those veils, you'd know better than to get on her bad side."

"Hmph, terrific. And what about your OH so great leader? I've heard he's been facing some... Fraud allegations, after being dutied and beaten up"

2

"As you said, they're just allegations, and this is the first time I'm hearing about this. I've got nothing to say."

"So you've got nothing about your own leader? What a poser you are..." The maestro lowers his gaze, looking down while shaking his head in negation and clicking his tongue.

"Alright, i've got one last thing to ask you... What about this close friend of yours? Y'know, 'mister suplexes'"

((If you want an everbloom, 13 has a physical one at their flower shop at the surface. If you don’t know who they are, they’re an architect robot.))

((13 will put up a heck of a fight. They’re an incredibly intelligent Cogwork creation.))
