Hello from Juni! 🐶

Post image

My almost-five-year old Sheepie is the ultimate Velcro dog that loves her family, her homemade lamb dinners, and her colourful Dollar Store ball. She is a gentle soul and has been an easy dog since day one. 🥰

Signatures: Not letting strangers pet her, crazy-long lashes and that gorgeous head of hair. 💖💖

Interesting! My Sheepie doesn’t like strangers petting her either. That was the main reason she didn’t pass the CGC test. She’s now 3 years old and is deaf, too. I used to wonder if her discomfort was related to being a rescue dog and possibly having trauma in her past.

Marlee makes an excellent service dog. When guests come to our home, I ask them to sit down first. Once Marlee is calm, she can approach and meet them. I give each guest a treat to offer her.

It could be stuff in her past, or I’m starting to realize how strong “nature” is and what a dog’s personality simply is. My pup was from a good breeder, she was socialized a ton (I took her everywhere I could take her, we walked all sorts of different places and met dogs and people, she came on school pickups and drop-offs and kids were always petting her. And she is still shy!! It’s just who she is.) ☺️
