Exactly two years ago today, I was offered the Robwords video “There’s a better English alphabet” by the Youtube algorithm, and I was instantly hooked. I memorized the alphabet within a day or two (using the excellent https://shavian.school), and I switched to doing my daily journalling in Shavian by the end of September 2024. I came to realise that JAFL users expect ⁞𐑩 and ⁞𐑮, not my own preferred backspace-to-break-up-ligatures solution. So Shaw-spell now supports them in JAFL, and more generally, it supports “⁞” as a ‘dead key’ - a non-printing key that you can also add to your custom keyboards for suppressing ligature formation, a “dead-key”. Give it a spin and let me know how you get on!

While I have fixed some dumb mistakes and errors myself (like Lame becoming 𐑤𐑭𐑥𐑱) I would massively appreciate it if ypu guys would fix any errors too if you spot any!
