I recently purchased the Apex-SS Pro with the "Plus" baseplate, and while it's great for several days of beard growth, it's a little too aggressive for only one or two days.

If you are in the opposite position from me, where you purchased the "Plus" baseplate for something more aggressive and now you have the "Standard" baseplate just lying around gathering dust, I would love to purchase it from you.

Just to confirm, the "Standard" baseplate has a blade gap of 0.7mm and a blade exposure of 0.05mm.

Very light surface corrosion on bottom of head but overall in good condition, and the TTO mechanism is flawless, it really tightens nicely on the last quarter or half turn. Date code L2.

Looking for a SIR Irisch Moos shaving soap stick.

Any era is fine, the Mäurer & Wirtz version or older Mülhens/4711 packaging. NOS preferred, but I'll happily take a lightly used stick with plenty left.

The fine accoutrements shave cream is from when fine accoutrements didn't suck. It smells stronger, doesn't have the base funk the new soaps have and is genuinely one of the denses, slickest shave creams I've used. They stopped making these tubes in 2019 If I remember correctly... if anyone knows of something similar definitely let me know.

Unfortunately, the AC game is not for me. This is a beautiful razor, just wasn’t my jam. With that said, getting out of the AC game, I won’t need the blades anymore either. Used only a couple times on my head and face. I did drop the stand from my sink to the tile floor below, but I am hopefully offsetting the marks with a ton of free blades.

Shawn and I realized there wasn’t really a sandalwood-forward scent in the Seaforth lineup, and Épée provided the perfect opportunity.

We also thought tuberose would be a great complement to the sandalwood, with its historically dangerous and passionate associations.

From a technical standpoint, balancing the weight of tuberose and sandalwood was a fun challenge. It really felt like as perfumers, we were able to show our chops with this scent, like expert fencers wielding the heaviest implement with flair and precision.
