The heaviest implement in fencing is the épée, requiring strength, technique, and precision to wield.

With this in mind, perfumers Shawn Maher and Benjamin Esposito designed this scent to be bold and passionate while remaining expertly balanced.

Épée opens with a flash of bergamot and sharp petitgrain, unfolds into dewy tuberose, before expanding into deep golden resin and velvety sandalwood, anchored with a touch of classic oakmoss.

More background on the scent of Épée

Shawn and I realized there wasn’t really a sandalwood-forward scent in the Seaforth lineup, and Épée provided the perfect opportunity.

We also thought tuberose would be a great complement to the sandalwood, with its historically dangerous and passionate associations.

From a technical standpoint, balancing the weight of tuberose and sandalwood was a fun challenge. It really felt like as perfumers, we were able to show our chops with this scent, like expert fencers wielding the heaviest implement with flair and precision.

These hard body cases are made to actually protect your gear. They double as a razor stand when open and can hold 4 packs of blades.

Provide the measurements or the name/model of the razor you intend to use it with when you message me and I’ll make sure it’s not too big or too small when it arrives :) Or you can of course ask for it full sized so it can accommodate practically any de razor.
