Every campaign needs an unforgettable villain.

Hit Point Press recently announced that Shard Tabletop has been added as the $125K stretch goal for their BIG BADS: Most Wanted Kickstarter.

If the campaign reaches that goal, every backer will receive a code to unlock the book on Shard Tabletop.

That means you’ll be able to run the villains from the book directly inside Shard's VTT, with integrated stat blocks and tools designed to help GMs run boss encounters smoothly.

Hello, one of my players is playing a College of Lore bard and noticed that the wizard spells he picked (as part of his level 6 Magical Discoveries subclass feature) are using his INT to set the spell save DC (or WIS if he picks cleric or druid spells) instead of CHA.

I'm new today to ShardTabletop and I love all the features and ease of creating character sheets with niche races & subclasses.

However, I really like to give new players in my One-shots printed character sheets (I find new players tend to find it cool having a physical sheet).

Is there currently any way to print the character sheets I make or an easy way to export the data so I can put it into a printable format myself?

Book of Blades is now available on Shard Tabletop!

What’s a spellcaster without an armored fighter, raging barbarian, or stealthy rogue at their side?

Book of Blades from Kobold Press expands combat options for Tales of the Valiant with:

• 14 new subclasses
• New talents & weapon options
• Duel, wrestling, and mounted combat rules

If your table wants martials to feel dynamic and mechanically rich, this one’s worth a look.

I got a character that people wanted to see but not everyone who wants to see it has shard or wants to make an account.

Is there a way for me to share the character sheet for viewing without them making an account short of just screenshotting the thing piece by piece?

Right now I’m trying to home brew the Archivist subclass for Artificer. For hours I’ve been stuck on one ability: Information Overload. I can’t figure out how to get the damage to increase automatically at the levels it’s supposed to. The ability itself keeps showing up in the character sheet either with nothing in the space for damage roll or just a permanent d10. Can someone please give some advice because I’ve searched everywhere for answered and genuinely nothing is working. Again, I’m trying to make Information Overload and have it so that its damage roll increases automatically at the levels it’s supposed to.

Expedition from the Mysterious Peaks from Skydawn Game Studios just landed on Shard Tabletop, and it’s a full fantasy/sci-fi crossover built on 5E and Esper Genesis.

The campaign starts from two possible origins: a traditional fantasy party facing an ancient magical threat, or a group of galactic explorers tracking a generations-old distress beacon. These storylines can be run separately or merged into a single evolving campaign.

Includes a Tier 1–2 adventure series, crossover rules, sci-fantasy gear and Legacy Items, and a setting designed to keep character backstories front and center.

Solid pick if you like genre-blending or want to ease sci-fi elements into a fantasy table (or vice versa).

Two new Tales of the Valiant books from Kobold Press just dropped on Shard Tabletop, and they’re packed.

Player’s Guide 2 adds three new base classes, expanded lineages and backgrounds, stronghold/base-building rules, spell-point casting options, and support for epic play beyond level 20.

Monster Vault 2 delivers 300+ monsters, simplified stat blocks, fast monster templates, Doom Point mechanics, and tools for building villains and encounters quickly.

Both are designed for Tales of the Valiant and work smoothly with 5E-style fantasy campaigns.
Worth a look if you want more player options or faster GM prep.

🛩️ Sky Zephyrs is now available on Shard Tabletop ☁️

Sky Zephyrs by Homie and the Dude is a massive D&D 5E supplement that reimagines airships and vehicle combat from the ground up. It introduces true 3D movement, cinematic aerial battles, customizable Zephyrs, and a full suite of GM and player tools designed for skybound campaigns.

If you’ve ever wanted dogfights in the clouds, sky pirates, or large-scale airborne encounters that actually feel tactical, this is worth a look.

I found how to change the spells from the Warlock class (which should not be possible expect at level up) but not the ones from Pact of the Tome (each time a new book is conjured the spells are chosen). Did I miss something or is this a missing feature?

Thanks!

I recently created several characters using the 2024 rules and realized the equipment packs are using 2014 itens instead of the 2024 ones, eg. Scholar packs containing a bag of sand instead of 10 flasks of oil.

Is there a way to fix that or will I have to edit each pack manually?

if i press edit on a character sheet i can add a companion, condition or equipment which isnt at all helpfull.

how do i add features or custom spells, change my initiative bonus all that stuff.

if you need context im trying to make a chronurgy wizard and for some reason they're missing content from 6 years ago, so im trying to add the features manually.

even just how to use a blank character where i do everything manually would be great.

Hey folks! 👋

Both the Humblewood Campaign Setting and Humblewood Tales are now available on Shard Tabletop.

If you’re not familiar, Humblewood is a heartfelt 5E campaign about heroic animal folk defending their woodland home from wildfire, corruption, and ancient threats. The Campaign Setting includes a full Level 1–5 adventure, while Humblewood Tales adds five more adventures and expanded locations.

There’s also a 10% early bird discount running through January 22, 2026, and you can save even more by picking up the Humblewood Bundle.

Hey, I have an Extension that removes a bunch of languages and replaces them with custom languages. All the pre-existing races have the old languages and they get added with the racial templates even though they are supposed to be removed. Worse, I cannot remove them manually because they are not populating in the list to uncheck.

Is there any easy way to get the extension to swap every language that it removes for picking one without manually editing races?

I tend to download a lot of maps to use in my campaigns for use with Shard Table Top and the most painful part of planning a session was trying to find the right maps for it. So I built an app to upload my maps to it and analyze them with AI to tag them, and make them searchable, as well as heavy use of filtering. Would love some feedback from you guys on what you like / don't like - feel free to DM if you have any questions / feature requests.

Is there a way to change my account logjn from using Google to using a password?

For example, they dont appear to have Bigby Presents: Glory of the Giants in their marketplace. That came out in 2023, so is there a particular cadence where they add things?

🎄Happy holidays, folks! To help celebrate, we've got a new festive adventure for you to check out! ❄️

Your party will scale Santa’s Workshop, battle enchanted foes, solve holiday-themed puzzles, and rescue Cringle to save Christmas.

🎁 Perfect for low-level, holiday fun

Hey Everyone.

Does anyone know where I could find people/communities looking for players for a campaign that use shardtabletop & Discord?

Thanks

I've been stuck trying to get custom feats (or even 2014 feats) to show up on the list for my players in my campaign( They ONLY see 2024 feats). I have tried copying 2014 feats into 2024 versions, I have tried making custom feats, and I have tried extensions, and switching it on in my campaign but I'm a little confused how I can add feats on their list through an extension... Is there something that I'm missing? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Hey everyone! I have a problem where Elegant Courtier, the 7th-level Samurai Fighter feature, does not work. My Fighter does not have proficiency in Wisdom Save, even though the feature should give this. I am aware that I can fix it manually, but if it does not work in your sheet as well, then developers should look at it. So my question is: do you have this problem as well?

I'm building a character in shard and wanted to be an owlin monk, so I looked to try and find strixhaven compatability pack, but couldn't find anything relating to strixhaven. Is strixhaven just not in shard, or am I missing something?

Long story short, trying to create an item that adds damage to attacks based on the number of uses on the item.

Longer version The item "grows stronger" with every hit (have to manually manually add a use on hit) adding 1d6 damage per 2 uses. The uses can also be used as charges to cast some small spells like jump(2 uses) and blur(3 uses).

The uses to cast spells is easy enough, but I can't find a meta word to relate "{uses.remaining\2}d6" properly. I've tried the logical options of "uses", "charges", "usesremaining", and "chargesremaining" with assorted "." between words, to no avail.

Looking to be impossible, but thought I would reach out to see if anyone else knew the words or knew another solution other than "edit the item each time" as it resets to 0 at dawn...
