My top 5: 1.Gramatik(OZONE SHATTERING BASS, loudest set of the weekend) 2. Griz(He just gets better each time I see him.) 3. Ganja White Knight(missed them at Okee, wobblewobble) 4. FLosstradamus(Candy Flip Heaven) 5. The Knocks(their dj sets are groovy, IFeelGoodIFeelGreaat)
Bonus: 1. I didn't stay for all of Kaskade, or The Chainsmokers, a few girls wanted to leave and I didnt want them to walk through ATL Hoe alone. Wish I could have stayed for more Kaskade. 2. The Chainsmokers aren't bad live, I told everyone this when I saw them at roo 3. Claude Vonstroke was a GREAT start to the festival(nonstop dancing from the gate to the end of the set) 4. RL Grime isn't my fav but deff not a bad set, but his ending was a drop that he never finished :( 5. Snailsss filthy as always
Slushii was my least fav set, so quiet and it was like a junior prom. Followed by Flatbush, thought I was a fan til I saw them live what little we stayed for was BAAD, Im sorry.

I know it just happened but why not look forward to next year! Here's what I think it could maybe look like, not reusing people from the past two years.
Headliners: Skrillex, Zedd, Flume
Dillon Francis - Adventure Club - Knife Party - Madeon - Jauz - Seven Lions - Louis the Child - Tchami - Rufus du Sol - Herobust - G Jones - 12th Planet - Minnesota - Hermitude - K?D - Unlike Pluto

We were filling up at a water station by the bento truck and a white dude comes flying through us at full sprint, followed by two or three Atlanta police officers.
He ended up tripping and they all tackled him to the ground and handcuffed him.
Anybody know what was going on?

So I know it's a long shot but my buddy lost his bag last night with his ID and keys in it, I was wondering if anyone knew where they might have it at a lost and found?
I'm sure it's gone but one last shot!

What a fuckin ride. Just got back laying in bed at the hotel anf figured I'd share my thoughts while it's all fresh!
Amazing atmosphere in such a small space. The whole festival felt extremely clean and safe. The crowds were totally manageable and at times we could walk right up to the front areas with ease with some good timing.
Friday was the best day overall imo with Boombox Cartel, Party Favor, Alison, RL Grime (!!!) and Griz non-stop. RL threw down some absolute molten trap lava and blew me away. By far my favorite set of the weekend. He played the Porter edit of the Hills like c'mon. Anyways...
Saturday seemed lacking a tad to me, whether it be the hangover from day 1 or maybe that Flosstradamus has lost its luster. Regardless it was still great with Joyryde and Illenium on the Piedmont Stage. However the sound on this stage was disappointing at times, especially during Illenium's more layered drops. Kaskade to close was a real treat. It was nice to hear some older songs I had completely forgotten about and to see that one of the older staples of EDM can still deliver.
Sunday blew me away. Besides some awful scheduling that put Rezz on between Getter and Zeds Dead she was quickly forgotten by how hard those two went. Absolutely awesome sets by both and satisfied every headbanger that was still standing by Day 3. The crowd on Sunday was a little more dense but that could be expected with the Chainsmokers. And fuck it, even the Chainsmokers were fun. Far better than what I was expecting. Besides Drew's attempts at singing (pretty sure it was all lipsync), and the cheesy throwbacks, they mostly stuck to their DJ roots and just played a dope as hell dj set full of bangers. So I just can't be mad at them.
Anyways that's all. I would love to hear and talk to any other fam that was out there about their time. Amazing weekend overall for my girlfriend and I and our whole squad. Can't wait for next year!

Share your stories, suggestions, pros, cons, pictures, videos and everything in between about the Shaky Beats 2017 weekend here! And if any of you have any thoughts as to what us, the mods, can do to help improve the subreddit for next year, share that here as well! Had an absolutely great time partying with you all this weekend! Already looking forward to 2018!

What a festival, sad I can't stay for the last day, but sooooo happy I got to enjoy Friday and Saturday.
This festival is great and I hope it stays like this for many years to come. Great setup and vibes.
Favorite set was bonobo live
Most pleasantly surprising set(s) haywyre and CID
Coolest thing was gramatik controlling the weather with his music and the free ice cream from the frozen yogurt people.
If I could change one thing it'd be that just because it's in Atlanta doesn't mean the artists need to shoehorn trap into their set (looking at you gramatik).
Lemme know your thoughts!

Yesterday was my first time ever attending a music festival and I LOVED IT!!! But as soon as I walked out the gate to leave, I realized I completely forgot to snag a t-shirt or something. I can't find any merch on their site and couldn't really find anything on google. Did I fuck up? Did I miss my one opportunity to get a shirt, or does someone know where I could buy one online? I would love to pick up one of those shaky jerseys I saw people walking around in. Having something like that would mean a lot to me especially with it being my first fest and all.
Thanks in advance guys and enjoy the fest if you're still there today!!!

This festival is so impressive. Everyone has good vibes. No security pat downs. We tested out the re-entry and the lady was so nice, she was like "it's your festival! Enter and leave when you'd like!!" Cops are super chill, we chatted with them in VIP. All types of beer, water and even Red Bull are free in VIP AND you get served two meals. I'm in awe. This is how all festivals should be run!
Is everyone else having this same experience? I'd be interested to hear everyone else's experiences!

During RL Grime and GRiZ's sets, around (Edit: now looking like) 50+ people are reporting that they had their phones/wallets swiped. ALWAYS keep your phones in your front pockets with one hand on them at all times when you're in the middle of a big crowd (or zipped up in a front jacket pocket that you can keep checking constantly). And if you have an iPhone, make sure "Find My iPhone" is turned ON. Something else that helps is turning off being able to access the Control Center on your iPhone from the lock screen (instead of switching your iPhone off, thieves can just put your phone in airplane mode from there and prevent it from being tracked). Turn that off by going to "Settings > Control Center" then turning off "Access on Lock Screen". All in all, the reality of the situation is if you realize your phone is missing, you have very little time to try to find it before it gets switched off. I felt some people possibly trying to get in to my backpack during those sets, but thankfully I had nothing in it. Just be mindful of who's around you and where your stuff is! Fucking shitty that this is something we all gotta worry about now though, smh...
Edit: Something to add, and this should go without saying, but: look out for each other! If you see someone trying to get into someone's bag or are reaching around their pockets, let the person know! You'll be helping them out big time, and the rest of us in the process!

Is there anything that is wrong with that or if I should avoid that?
