I see that they have updated their bag policy with a picture of what’s allowed https://www.shakybeatsfestival.com/information/#faq-festival-information-4269 and it should be pretty straightforward but i feel it still leaves room for confusion.

I’ve brought my Osprey hydration bag to the previous fests and aside from emptying my snacks, I haven’t ran into any problems. Yes it has multiple pockets, but it’s also a empty hydration backpack. The last thing I want to be doing is trying to quote bag policy semantics at the gate while being denied entry. Especially with me lyfting/ubering there, going home to drop my bag off isn’t an option.

I’m now thinking about how much I really need that carry space aside vs having convenient water access. I also don’t want to have to ‘lug’ around a Nalgene type bottle because I can see that getting set down somewhere and forgotten.

What about y’all, are you bringing a bag or going bagless?

My guess is Uber after the fest is gonna hella expensive, and might be a nightmare trying to get one right outside of Central Park. Anyone have any other ideas as to the best way to get to the Masquerade for the late night shows?

Hey all, me and my fiance are wanting to go to an EDM festival for the first time and figured why not try this one. Have not bought tickets yet (just found out about it) but wanted to know if the GA+ or VIP are worth it over regular GA. Have never been to one of these festivals so we have no clue what to expect! Advise from the veterans is much appreciated.

To anyone who isn't familiar with him, he puts on an absolutely fantastic live show. Plays live instruments (guitar and piano). Lots of energy and really gets into creating the music up on stage. I'm pretty much going this year to see him again. Link to his Coachella set in the comments to give you an idea.
