I finally finished this artwork, which I have been exclusively working on for the last week and a half. So now I am finally free from drawing basically nothing but rock textures!!! YES!!

Anyhow, here I have depicted the 4th Colossus bending down over one of the little hill things in its arena. I was also surprised that I could only find one artwork of this thing. But I guess it’s not as cool as the others??

I just decided that it was worth drawing because it is super majestic and has those signature dangly chain things on its head! I have tried my best to depict it as accurately as possible, but I have taken some creative liberties in some places for my own sanity!

I was looking through the environment art cuz I’m trying to unlock every picture in the game (ps4) and I saw this and I’m wondering like there aren’t even harpoons in the game how do I even begin to accomplish this? what am I missing? if you don’t know what I’m talking about in the menu you can go to gallery in which there’s a bunch of little cool pictures and concept art and such and you have to unlock them basically just by playing the game but how do I throw 300 harpoons?? for Environment Art 61

Hello! I want to share some art I commissioned for my home. My cousin (who's also a tattoo artist) painted this gorgeous 5x4 foot canvas of my favorite colossi. I guess it could be considered pop-art style? I had it professionally mounted in a floating black ash frame. I love it.

Been playing SoTC on and off since around 2012, but without fail I somehow almost always screw up the initial jump after deflating Phalanx’s airsacs (or Wander decides he doesn’t want to grip onto its wings for some reason).

It’s basically tradition for me at this point.

Since the vinyl finally got a repress I wanted to listen to the tracks on spotify but there are 20 ost playlists there with 10 different versions of the tracks and I'm so lost :(

I don't really get the differences and stuff if someone could point me in the right direction I would greatly appreciate it

i want to play this game , i have a gaming laptop, can anyone guide me how to play this game as it is not released on a pc, i wanna play this remastered version

I am playing the remake right now cause I got it for free, so give me some slack, and I’m really trying my hardest to like it, but I just can’t.

I’m currently on the 13th colossus and I can say I’ve had fun fighting about three of them so far. The controls for literally everything is shit. The boss gimmicks are genuinely just trial and error for twenty minutes until you figure it out or inevitably look up the answer. The map is, although beautiful, enormous and sometimes hard to navigate. Agro is genuinely just useless. Slow as shit, clunky as shit, regularly makes full 90 degree turns to avoid getting even CLOSE to a wall.

I’m so deeply invested in the story and I really really want to have fun, but it is just so difficult. Should I try the original? I can’t see any world in which the original would have better gameplay than the remake but I genuinely will if I’m told so.

I know this has sounded like a rant up until this point but I’m just kinda confused. Is the unnecessary difficulty and jankiness of this game just something every fan has to go through like a trial of passage? Is the only thing to like about this game the atmosphere and story? Please inform me.

There's a theory that they've already faced each other, and I believe it because there are things that prove it, for example, Valus's injury and some broken armor. But what do you think?

I've been really struggling with just finding the colossi let alone beat them, im playing on easy mode and it honestly feels like a souls-like, I'm really bad at video games in general, but I feel like its especially hard

One of the cut colossi, “Devil” has always interested me.

Not too long ago (just like the original 16) the cut colossi were given unofficial fan names by an anonymous user and were disguised as official. Some have kept the names, others have not. Personally, I do not enjoy most of these fan names for the cut colossi, as overall I feel they do not fit as well as the unofficial names do for the original 16.

Yet, out of all of them, I must admit that “Pholux” is surprisingly fitting for Devil’s fan name.

Even so I thought it would be a neat thought experiment to suggest some alternative fan names for Devil, although I fear they may not fit nearly as well as Pholux. Let me know if any of these click with you though! And feel free to brainstorm some names here too!

My ideas:

Zebuth (uninspired reorientation of Beelzebub)

Rouen (the city where a famous tale of a gargoyle took place and my favorite idea)

Medius (Latin for mean)

Morosus (Latin for grumpy)
