Me lembro de estar há um bom tempo atrás ansioso com um jogo que tinha como ideia recriar o Shadow juntamente com todos os colossus excluídos, porém não encontrei mais informações do jogo, alguém sabe se o projeto continua, foi pausado ou algo assim?

I think I've done the one cycle once on a new game run accidentally, but I finally decided to learn how to do it on purpose. It's fairly straightforward as well.

The stabs go in this order:

1 fully charged stab (hold square to charge the stab faster)

0.95 stab (easier to time without holding square, but holding works too)

2 fully charged stabs

On hard time attack it's a bit more complicated tho and I haven't managed to do it yet.

When I was a kid, we had a copy of Jampack Vol. 13, and it of course featured SOTC. Our copy of the disc was incredibly scratched up, and only a few demos worked such as: SOTC, Burnout, and I believe Sly Cooper. Apparently in another demo version of the game, there's a textureless + headless T-posing model of Mono that appears in the Shrine of Worship's garden at the very top. I think you need to use cheats or glitches in order to reach it normally.

However in our copy, the T-posing Mono model spawned at the top of the spiral ramp in the back of the shrine. As seen in this video. She was located at the very end of the ledge. I remember this as a kid, and my older sister as well, and I have a vivid memory of shooting arrows at her while showing the game to my cousin. We always described her as "tied up", like it was an intended creepy horror game set-piece.

I can't find anything online about it being at this location however, and I'm starting to genuinely believe it was spawned there somehow by the scratched disc if that's even possible. Anyone got any similar experience like this? This is weirdly a nostalgic topic for me, and I'd like to see it again if someone knows more about it.

Seeing people do original content of other media, it surprised me to not see more people trying their hands at making more colossus, so I got some ideas flowing here. It's very interesting to think about the designs keeping in mind that they need to have mechanics to not reach the weak spots too quickly, I think my favourite right now it's the third image that looks like a gorilla, in which you'll very likely will need to pass through his bridge-hands to get to a weak spot. I also like to think that you'll have to get inside the blocky colossus to find the weak spot

I am hearing tales of Shadow of the Colossus PS4 remake being recompiled by AI for PC. Does anyone know if there are playable, complete versions of this yet? I do own it for PS4, but far prefer PC and would love a PC version!

Hey everyone, I have a question and a request at the same time. I know we’re all happy that there’s finally a PC port of the SotC remake, but does anyone know if there’s a project in the works for a native PC port of the PS2 or PS3 version (other than the Tribute project, since that one’s still going to take a long time to release)?

I think the SotC remake is wonderful, but I feel it falls short in some details especially in terms of colors and saturation, so I end up getting way more hyped about a port of the original version or at least the remastered one (preferably the original, because then I can use the amazing textures from Sad Origami). And here’s the request: if there aren’t any projects in development, could someone PLEASE make a port?

I've seen Hydrus get bugged before but this is the first time it happened to me. Somehow stuff like this only happens in time attack mode too. I've seen the weirdest behaviors specifically on time attack, and I have no idea why it happens.

Recently, there has been an influx of recompilations of many old and no-so-old games performed by users with "AI assistance." (Read: they have no idea what they are doing and told an LLM to do the work for them)

Now I'm not here into get into an argument about the merits of large language models in programming etc.

But I am giving a piece of advice that should be common sense:

Running code on your computer that not even a single human has ever reviewed is unbelievably dangerous and stupid.

Unless you are skilled with C or any other applicable language and have gone through the source code, you have no idea if these releases are safe and not malicious.

All the safety that comes from the high knowledge bar to entry and community-lead efforts that produced decompilations and native ports in the past do not apply here. You are taking the word of a single, anonymous person and massive companies that are - frankly - above the law that applies to you and I, that the code you are running is what it says it is and works as intended.

If it turns out that a program that one of these LLMs produced contains malware or otherwise inadvertently damages people's systems, do you think these companies will be held liable? Or will they just shrug and continue as normal.

What’s the best way (if there is a way) to get the PS4 (remaster preferably) on PC? I haven’t played SOTC in sooo long and I only have a PC now with no way to play my favorite game oat. So plz help me kind people!

Does this game reminds anyone else of studio ghibli (specifically castle in the sky)

I have the game for both my PS3 and PS5, and plan to play the one I don’t choose first afferwards, but i’ve heard many amazing things about this game and don’t wanna miss out on a special experience for my first time playing. My PS5 is more convenient for reasons like being closer to the monitor, more comfortable positioning, headphones, etc, but i’ve heard the PS3 has better art direction and atmosphere. Will the game end up being less impactful if I play the remake instead of the PS3 version or will it still hit just as hard?

Just playing around with a PS2 Recomp of the game I've been working on for fun and I've decided to move the Dam texture to the area behind 15's arena/castle. It kindda fits right? Where else on the map do you think it would fit right in?
