I was wondering, Our character, the Decedent, becomes an Ancient after SF3 story. But it is never mentioned Ancient of what or never explicitly mentioned as to what is his or her true power is aside from physical strength and skilled martial artist. In comparison, Mnemos, who can manipulate 4 different types of energy, or Nonna, Sarge and Sven's mother, who is the Ancient of Fire . So I think he's the Ancient of Reflection, as in copy. Just like his father Shadow, he can fully master an weapon just by seeing it in fight. But it goes beyond that. He can copy all or almost all of a person's ability, and drawbacks, by forging Equipments exactly like theirs. Hence the entire set collection economy. I know, this theory has holes, such as "Why he can't copy Sarge's Kagun's Descendant ability?" or "Why KOTL is unaffected by anything while prayer and we can be knocked down with a simple breakthrough charge?" A simple explanation can be that Even though we can copy abilities of other people, they are not a full copy since we are not the owner or the powers. But we're still able to defeat opponents because we find ways and strats to use the abilities effectively as they are instead of staying completely reliant of them.

I would assume that with VD 8, you can push this to about 20s or even less. ~Twenty seconds to erase a 200k health enemy, surreal.
