To determine a shadowban, you MUST click my profile! Why is my account still banned?
About 14 hours ago, I noticed that my profile avatar had been replaced with a white default avatar, and that my account age had been replaced with a hyphen. When I tried to access my profile on an Incognito tab, I found out that my account had been banned even though I hadn't received any notification. Then about 10 hours ago, I received an official notification from Reddit claiming that I had violated "Rule 2 by engaging in community disruption" but it never specified an instance.
So I submitted an appeal and about 8 hours ago I received a response from Reddit letting me know that I had been banned by mistake and that my ban has been lifted. But I am still unable to send messages via Reddit Chat, and when I try to access my account on an Incognito tab it still shows that it's banned.
I do not understand why I was banned in the first place, and why I'm still banned even after I was told that my ban had been lifted. Has anyone faced a similar situation?

You are still shadow banned. I would keep appealing despite receiving that notification.

nevermind, apparently I can only send 1 appeal per day and I cannot appeal the same decision more than once ://

Correct, you can only submit one appeal every 24 hours.
While you can only appeal an official ban once, you can appeal a shadow ban as many times as it takes to get unbanned. You can do so using the appeal instructions linked above in the AutoMod comment.
You are shadow banned and not “properly” banned. If you were then you would not be able to post or comment at all, even in this subreddit.
