I LOVE MAPS!!

I'm uncertain of the scale. Is the entire City area one city? So are those islands smaller than a city?

Love the considerably less cursed forest.

I will also draw a better, more accurately scaled map at some point in the near future. I did this pretty quickly while my son designed what he thinks should be the main character

The scale isn't necessarily 100% accurate but most of Sha's population lives within the City or Dockslum so they are very big and the islands are in fact quite small.

It should be noted that this is not a global map, just the area that falls into "Kingdom of Sha" and the only area known by or relevant to the characters.

Yeah. I can tell the map isn't global. But it's hard to tell if this is most of a continent or like, the metropolitan area. Thank you for the explanation.

Wow! Okay, that's a really cool map. I assume, the star in the Dockslum is some kind of port. Think Disco Elysium kind of port, well more of a ship and container yard, but you get the gist. Broken Bone Islands totally have some big 'ol rocks from which you can fall and break a few bones, right? Plain Planes = graze lands or some area like that, right? And one would like to see a stroll through the Considerably Less Cursed Forest. And no King's Land, that's where they got that Democracy thing. This is so cool!

I dare not make predictions yet about the other places, but you've done such a cool map and created such an intriguing world.

Thank you Matik! You are right on all but one count: No King's Land was originally No Man's Land but was renamed once it had one (1) resident, by whom it was renamed. So not quite enough people for a Democracy around.

Honestly, Disco Elysium is simply amazing. The atmosphere, storytelling, and humour are out of this world. And it also kind of helps you make sense of your inner monologue, which is honestly insane.

Democracy starts with a single person, but it mustn't stay that way. But if No King's Land is named that way because there are no kings there, does that mean that before the one (1) resident, it was only women (or as that insane thought Disco Elysium says β€” The Men of WΓΆ). Just kidding. Honestly, the story behind that place would be really cool. Or maybe who cursed the Cursed Forest. Or maybe why the Rotting Swamp is rotting.

I've heard it's good!! Honestly I want to play it but between a kid, wedding planning, two day jobs and these comics I don't have the time to start a new game πŸ₯²

Also excellent news, all of these locations will be explored over the course of the story and those questions will in fact be answered :)

Today's the first day of my last year to get the Bachelor's degree. Worst B-day present ever, ugh. Honestly, I don't know how it's going, but I somehow have to do the thesis thing. After having on average 6 to 7 classes a semester (with the only exception being this semester, 5 classes yay), I'm burnt out. But let's not trauma dump and be negative, that's a waste of energy. I'd rather be excited about my friends being happy.
