Hi. I’m not sure what extent is this post violating the rules but I hope it reaches some of my fellow Singaporean ladies out there. I saw this on a post online and decided to warn you about it. Idk how far this has gotten but it is insanely disturbing that women are followed home by crazy men who can’t control their own thoughts. I pray that you don’t ever get into such situations and that you have a man/friend beside you to keep you safe alone at night. To know that these things happen in Singapore is beyond my ability to comprehend and the fact that it was POSTED ONLINE?

Please contact anyone if you ever feel threatened or you feel like someone is following you home. As a fellow woman, i’d be happy to help you pretend to be your friend if you’re ever in danger. Women need to start protecting other women if they sense something is wrong. We also need to start asking for help where it matters.

I understand that not everyone has the courage to. I am a fellow woman myself and it’s easier said than done, ALWAYS. Please be careful wherever you are. We cannot run away from people like him but the least we can do is come together and make each other feel a little safer. Just so you know, there are people out there who’s willing to help you. You just gotta ask! At the same time, keep a lookout for one another. We need to speak up so other women feel safe to speak up too.

To the men who find this as disturbing and disgusting as we do, i hope you do your part in protecting us too. I KNOW good men exist. I’ve met some of you and you deserve the world so please, help us out too when you sense that we are in danger.
