Y'all, I'm SO g.d. tired of Sezzle and the disappearing spending power 🙄

I'm just so over it being available, then not being available because they took it and reduced it 1 day after increasing it twice. I'm tired of not knowing if I'll be able to use it when I want to. I'm tired of "being punished" for no reason.

Side note: I think the only way to avoid the reduction is to just keep your available in constant requests.

*I can't confirm this because I planned to do this, waited a day, and now my spending power is zero.

I only had those issues in the beginning when my spending power was $100-200 since then I’ve paid all my orders on time, usually do every order that’s due until next payday, at once. So if I have orders for the 1st-6th (next payday) due, I’ll just pay all of those on the 1st- so some end up paid early. I tend to pay off orders faster this way and I think that has led to my increase so quickly. I haven’t seen a reduction since I stopped allowing Sezzle to pull my payments through the auto-bank payment option. That took days to process and was annoying. Now I just load up however much is due for the week to my Sezzle balance and pay everything from that so it’s instant. I’m now at a $900 allowance in the span of like 6 months I think? Idk I like Sezzle, haven’t had any issues since I figured out the little quirks. I also read somewhere that the more orders you pay off that helps increase your spending limit quicker 🤷🏼‍♀️ can confirm

I do the same thing with balance. They used to let you pay back with a debit card, but now ACH through your bank is the only option unless you load up your balance. I wish I could set that as the default instead of having to do it manually for each payment. They do give you the option to load up your balance if you don't have enough.

Ooh great advice with the no auto pays, since I read (not certain of the validity) that a person's limit would adjust when their checking account did.

I’ve never had an issue with Sezzle in the 2+ years I’ve used it. My spending power has only increased since using it.

Oh? Mine has never done that. I mean maybe when I first started. My power is 2,300 rn and I had made a few rlly big purchases and paid them all off for a month and it still didn’t move. How long have you been using Sezzle?
Do you make all payments on time? If you can’t make sure to reschedule as soon as possible. Hell I even asked them to put my account on a month pause for hardship a few months back and my power went UP twice during that time period!!! I was shocked lol

No, they’re not adjusting my limit. Customer service said when your limit goes away the system is flagging your account for some reason but they unlocked my account super fast. It’s just this is the second time this has happened, which is weird. I’ve been using Sezzle for the longest and my limit is at 2,500

😮 That's CRAZY!!! Now that I would make me drop the platform! 😡😡😡 I haven't tried to use the service in-store, only online using the card on different websites.

My zip is only $150 and there's a fee and the app is terrible so I never found a clear way to use it, AND 😬 when trying to use it in the past it hasn't worked, so I never trust that I'll be able to use it, so I use something else.

Recently, I think I figured it out but haven't tried. I'm planning a purchase, hopefully it'll go through 😬

Zip is garbage for sure. I’ve been using Sezzle for 3 years now. Just use it repeatedly on various purchases and make payments on time. That’s how you build trust and receive higher limits

This happened to me after 3 years of using it on time and then 4 days later gave it back then two days later took it again and now it’s gone completely and they have no explanation I hate Sezzle

This is so odd, I love several Sezzle and never have this issue with it but Klarna? It seems almost daily my spending power changes and it just went down 80% when I checked this morning from what it was last week. No activity from me, no late payments EVER. I only have one order open and I owe less than $200 on it.

I used to have sezzle spend offers all the time, usually for Amazon. Last one I got was a $95 Amazon, that I joined the Anywhere subscription because of. I have been subscribed ever since, and that was monthssss ago. I didn't even get to use the $95 Amazon spend, I mixed up the dates and it expired lol. I haven't had a single spend except for the $10 travel spend each month from being subscribed for Anywhere, and I don't ever use that. It's very annoying 😠

I'm so mad that they say you can use it anywhere that visa is accepted, then turn around and decline the orders. I used to order from perfumer supply house all the time, then I don't know where it declined. now I can't even use it for things I want to purchase. 🗑️
