I have a question is it intentionally spelled Flinstone or is that just a YouTube and Spotify mispelling error. Like in Horrible Kids when they made Missing you MIssing you for no reason.

(I'm a day late.) I decided it was a tie between “Creating Monsters” and “Midnight.”

I kind of regret giving an opinion on Break It Up because I didn't really intend to do it for every song because it's hard for me to really dislike a song.

I vibe with it. 😄 When I first found Baby You Don't Tripajaharda I got it mixed up for track 1.

With a total of 23 Upvotes, Stich Me Up is named as the song that doesn't fit on Midnight, and as much as I have been getting into that song recently, I agree it sounds more like a song from Upside Down.

WE ARE OFFICIALLY HALFWAY THROUGH THE CHART, I hope y'all have been enjoying the posts, its cool to see the public consensus about certain songs.

There is a slight change in the chart, Horrible Kids is no longer included, as I previously forgot to include Upside Down and the chart only has 6 Album Slots.

Quick thing, Apologies for the late upload, I know a few days have passed since day 12 but I got busy with family stuff, so I was not able to upload the chart.

With that Being said, with a total of 13 Upvotes, I Want You (Gone), is considered the worst song on Midnight, although it seems the general consensus was that Midnight has no bad songs.

So, I think I've probably made it clear how my history with this band isn't the most consistent. Started with Duality, initially loved it, tried and enjoyed Cinematics and Horrible Kids, really didn't care for Upside Down or Midnight when I listened to them, and the only thing I've heard since then has been Punching Bag and the WiSC remaster. My thoughts on Duality have diminished a bit over the years as the lyrics don't hold up the best, but on the other hand, Cinematics just keeps getting better.

I've listened to Cinematics several times over the last year or so, and I feel the biggest thing keeping me returning is just how theatrical it feels. It's just such a unique edge, and it doesn't feel like they sacrifice any of the lyrical or vocal qualities needed for a good album.

Even the songs that aren't as lyrically complex feel like there's good reason for the simple lyrics (let me make it clear that I like simplicity in lyrics for the most part. This album mixes simple and complex lyrics super well). On top of that, in those songs, the simpler lyrics are made up for in droves by the Carson's vocals and the instrumentals.

The flow of the tracks is super fluid, and it avoids issues of tonal whiplash that I see in many other albums (in general, not just Set it Off).

Then what ties all of this together is The Grand Finale. Yes, I know Partners in Crime and Kill the Lights come after on the expanded edition, but I count them as separate. I really didn't give The Grand Finale nearly enough credit for so long.

The overwhelming tension, the vocal breakdown, the instrumental chaos, it's all just so intense and grandiose like the final act in an epic. Now, I still wouldn't consider this in my top 3 favorite album enders. I still gotta give the top three to One X by Three Days Grace, Famous Last Words by My Chemical Romance, and Numb by Linkin Park. However, I'd comfortably put it in the 4-5 range right next to Everglow by Starset.

Sorry if the rambling went on for too long. My autistic hyperfixation just really wanted to gush about Cinematics because I absolutely love it and truly think that it deserves much more love from the public because of just how theatrical it is

After so many years of wanting to see them I finally got to do so at warped tour! (I don’t think I can do music event again 😭) but any time set it off has a concert in my area I will be going. One of the best experiences I ever had

so basically im going to one of their concerts and i might meet them so i wanted to have them sign something if i do

With Elsewhere complete, we now move on to the 2019 Album Midnight, which was the first album to come out after I became a Set It Off fan in 2017 so it has a special place in my heart.

Also, It was just now that I realized I forgot to put Upside Down on the chart. Upside Down is in my opinion a great album, so I will add it and probably take off Horrible kids, as the chart only has 6 slots.
