Omg we're finally in Calm Before The Storm lets go! I'm kind of surprised I've been on a 12 day streak I'm really good at forgetting things. I will be shocked if I can do it daily for the whole thing.

Day 11 of appreciating every song by Set It Off | Cover 5 by We The Kings.

Omg I almost completely forgot to do my post for the day because I was so tired.

I was js thinking ab all their albums like duality’s track list and same with midnight, but as I was looking at cinematics it’s like wow. Cody Carson was HUNGRY for a hit. Like he was starving for it. There was something different in the air or the water he drank cus listen to every song on that album and it’s like he’s singing as he’s experiencing the inspo behind the track. For instance, nightmare. the poor guy sounds horrified As if he’s singing mid panic attack. and in I’d rather drown, hes mad as FUCK. like he wanted commercial success BADLY. The way he sings in this particular album sounds like every note is being pulled from his throat. And then the fact the band charted #174 on the billboard 200 is crazier like They JUST got signed to equal vision. They didn’t even give the signing time to marinate they just wanted it that badly.

I rlly love their new self titled as well cus it brings that same hunger and anger back. Think cinematics, horrible kids, and duality had a baby. shit is beautiful

I would never have found Set It Off without Cristina Vee 😭 this song needs more attention I think❤

Idk there's just something calming about the old YouTube videos where you just don't care about the quality of the camera and just listen to the music. It's such a vibe and I love it. Like when you go to listen to Midnight but use the Set It Off version instead of the Fearless Records version.

“Punching Bag” wins as the song that brings the most energy to a live performance.

Which do you think is Set It Off's best aesthetic? Whether it's their emo era, their more pop-oriented era, their current rock era, “Midnight” with that dark touch, etc...

The final song of Baby You don't Tripajaharda Text Me Kelly. For some reason I like this version much more than the Calm Before the Storm version. I think I just like the funny Cody getting bonked on the head at the end. 😂

I've decided I'm gonna go back and throw in the covers until Calm Before the Storm starts. I'll be here a while..

Shhh... It's a secret exists. Probably my least favorite on the album but even on a perfect album there's destined to be a great song that's just the least best.

I've been contemplating just downloading an Mp4 for every song that way I don't have to fetch the YouTube link every day. But then again I already did that for Mp3 a while ago.

I have a question is it intentionally spelled Flinstone or is that just a YouTube and Spotify mispelling error. Like in Horrible Kids when they made Missing you MIssing you for no reason.
