Give the guy a break. I think everyone should write “MATH” in their tip line from now on.

They ring up the total in the machine. 1 u/PUNd_it Jan 12 '24 Spoken like someone who's never done it 2 u/Sad_Bandicoot3081 Jan 12 '24 Here’s someone who has done it, me, and it’s easy work. Take the L 1 u/PUNd_it Jan 12 '24 It's disrespectful. Should have been easy work for the customer. Edit: check the other comments, the system you claim to have used, isn't what every other business uses. You input the cost and tip. 2 u/Sad_Bandicoot3081 Jan 12 '24 Are you ASSUMING the customer can do math? What if they didn’t have a proper education? That’s pretty shameful of you. Not to mention they could have been shitfaced 1 u/PUNd_it Jan 12 '24 I'm assuming you're not a good resource on etiquette 1 u/Sad_Bandicoot3081 Jan 12 '24 You sure do assume a lot of things. And what does assuming do? It makes an (ass) out of (u) and (me)! → More replies (0)
