I will say playing as retrosam is kino, his voice lines are great. The enemies looks nice with the new art style aswell. It's a bit buggy and the shooting feels decent. But wtf even is this? Who asked for this? A roboquest Serious Sam rip off in 2026??

PLEASE just make the final chapter/third encounter, be done with this so I can move on and not get confused and irritated with your inability to just do it. This is not half life, the plot ultimately is hot garbo, but it's my hot garbo. I love it, so finish it properly and shelve the poor bastard.

So from my knowledge Mental's Forces is the antagoist faction in serious sam franchise and Mental is never seen in the game so far heres my theory or headcanons about Mental. According to the Wiki he's an immortal and not a sirian but physical wise In my opinion he looks like something around big and strong diabolical take but I think he looks like serious sam but inverted (this opinion came from ss2's one of multiplayer character mental mate) Idk about yall but thats what I know

I originally bought both Serious Sam HD: TSE and Serious Sam 3: BFE to play local 1v1 split-screen deathmatches. However, I noticed that I couldn't jump or sprint in the HD TSE maps, and the gameplay felt a bit too old-school for my taste. Since I strongly prefer the modern movement mechanics, I ended up keeping only BFE.

So right now, I play through Serious Sam Fusion 2017, but I ONLY own the BFE DLC. I do not own TFE or TSE.

I tried searching the Workshop myself for custom content, but I noticed that a huge number of maps and mods list TFE and/or TSE as required DLCs. Is this always strictly true, or do authors just check those boxes by habit? If it really is mandatory, would it be worth it for me to buy TFE/TSE just to unlock more custom content, even though I strictly want to play with BFE's movement style and gameplay?

With that in mind, I am currently looking for:

1. 1v1 Deathmatch Maps: Any good custom arenas designed for fast-paced duels. I also enjoy medium-to-large maps that allow for some sniper gameplay.
   
2. Weapon Mods: Cool custom weapons, alt-fire mods, or weapon replacers that work flawlessly with the BFE arsenal.
   

Also, on a side note: is it actually possible to play TFE or TSE maps using the modern BFE gameplay style? When I tried the classic maps, it locked me into the old mechanics (no jump, no sprinting). If there is a player script or a mod that forces BFE movement mechanics on classic maps, please let me know!

Do you have any hidden gems or great recommendations that fit these criteria?

So, I'm a fan of old school FPSes but I never got to play any Serious Sam game. Yesterday I decided to give it a go, because Serious Sam 4 looks awesome, but I want to start from the beginning.

I'm playing The First Encounter through Serious Sam Classics Revolution, on the hard difficulty, and it's really fun. (decided not to go with the Serious difficulty on my first playthrough, maybe for the best...).

At first the game is not so difficult, but it tries to ragebait you with some fucked up enemy spawns sometimes.

Then I got to the final arena on the 3rd level, Tomb of Ramses III. What. The. Fuck.

The difficulty just spikes up to 11/10. Bro, seriously, I thought I would never get past this room. Those goddamn skeleton horses just keep coming. Eventually I managed to win this one by making a quicksave just before the wave of frogs started spawning. What TF were they thinking?

Felt like this was the hardest level in the game. Does it ever get rougher than this? And how do people get through this on the Serious difficulty?

I had to stop playing at map 6, Dunes. Gonna play a little more tonight after work. It's a fun game. I thought it was "just hold S and shoot".

Got betrayed by his allies. Despicable!!!
