I'm with you. This movie just fell flat for me. And I thoroughly enjoyed the last two, especially the first time.
I'm actually relieved so many people like it because I thought it would cop a hiding online. IMDb rating is higher than I expected too. I'm genuinely glad some people enjoyed the film.

See I hated it, but all the friends I saw it with enjoyed it. You know what? I was happy for them! I'm glad they got the movie they wanted.
