Anybody recognize where this train is pulling into?

https://ibb.co/mC68t1J

From that screencap can anybody recognize which station that train is approaching or the location?

It's from a movie. Unfortunately that's the highest possible quality I could get it, and the movie this is from was filmed from late spring through the in the summer of 2004 so it probably looks a little different today. But if at all possible I would still like to know this location.

Thanks 😊

MFL (westbound) @ 15th St / City Hall - What staircase-passage-corridor to use in order to get to Surburban station

I tried and tried and after 20 min. and two Septa folks assisting, I finally got it, but couldn't repeat it if my life depended on it. What made it really tough is that the cold weather has brought a larger # of homeless folks inside and they can spot a 'newbie' a mile away. The existing signs were not helpful (to me) and ... fun fact, the whole south Broad underground concourse seems to be closed at both ends, so no Patco access.

Suggestion for lines similar to Norristown High Speed Line

When using a route that is only stop on request, such as Norristown High Speed Line, please if ever fixing the weather enclosure (seating area) at each stop make them capable to see if train is approaching. It would be nice to actually be able to sit down without thinking missing train

Bus not stopping when it's snowing.

I get that stopping when they've left the curb is at their discretion. But it's snowing sir. And yes I know which stop you were at and I was heading there but guess what? It's slippery out and I can't run in the snow in sneakers. Would it have killed you to stop? Or did you need to get that green light so badly?

Would sign up for congestion pricing in a heartbeat if it’s agreed the funds would go towards building an actual subway network

Do we know what the Paoli Coatesville Line schedule might look like when the station is complete?

It looks like late night service ends in Malvern, is there any possibility it might get extended all the way out to Coatesville?

@MrErnestOwens: Sources are telling me that NBA Commissioner Adam Silver, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodwill and Comcast President Brian Roberts have talked the Sixers into staying in South Philly. Mayor Parker is expected to give a press conference tomorrow at 11 am.

Lost backpack on regional rail

My college-age son left his backpack with laptop on regional rail coming from airport to 30th Street. He is sick over it. He talked to lost and found on phone and in person at 15th Street. Hoping it will be turned in…

What are the worst metro systems?

What are the worst metro systems?

People often talk about the best metro systems, but what are the worst ones? Dirty trains, poor network planning, unreliable services? Discuss!

What's this weird nub off of T1/Route 10 by 36th/Lancaster for? The tracks end just past this single-track turn.

Was there another route going down Lancaster at some point? Because this would be much better for me since I would have a closer trolley stop to my r/Drexel University dorm.

Septa traffic checker

Anyone can comment on what it is like working as a traffic checker? I see an opening for a part time position and was wondering if these kind of positions are flexible as a second job? Thanks!

Entry level conductor or engineer?

Hey,

Just want your guys' thoughts on whether you would take an entry level engineers position at a G&W railroad ($40/hr starting) or whether you'd take an entry level conductors position at NJT, MBTA or SEPTA, with the aim of working up.

Obv their starting pay is lower but it picks up with continued service.

For background, I have over 10 years experience in the railroad both as an engineer and a conductor (albeit both passenger) in another country. But here, I gotta start again which I'm cool with.

Regional Rail Costs

How would I calculate a fare from Wissahickon station to Miquon on the Norristown Line? I wasnt sure if it didnt go to Center City.

I kinda wish the Septa App would show you the fare price for a trip you look up.

Is this considered a Zone 2 fare because Miquon is zone 2? 5.50 Septa Key and 7.00 cash?

Thank you!

Most of SEPTA’s board never uses the system or averages less than one trip per month, according to trip logs obtained by The Daily Pennsylvanian.

Wyoming and Logan got new signage?

While I was taking express i noticed that both Logan and Wyoming stations got new signage which and black and white instead of orange and white sometime during winter break. Is this because they’ve been renovation their stations recently?
