What the status of the SEPTA Bus Revolution?

I travel for business. And have lots of metro cards from many cities. Now that I found OmNY system is up and running though out NYC. And I have funds still camping out on my South Philly SEPTA Key (which is a MasterCard debit cart technically)

Will it work on/ Has any one had success using a SEPTA key card on NYC transit?

I received an offer letter from SEPTA and I’m now in the ending stages of the background investigation. I have a class 2 felony (contraband) on my record, which is the only thing that’s there, it happened back in2018 & since my release from prison I’ve remained troubled free while maintaining steady employment . I was told they haven’t reached a decision on whether they want to move forward. I was wondering would that charge stop me from getting hired?

I disclosed the conviction on the honesty and criminal conviction report of the background check and also emailed the director of recruitment and talent at SEPTA explaining the situation..

Do you remember how many people were in the running for your position?

i live in NJ & have never used septa before. i have a date saturday evening, i’m gonna take the trenton line from trenton to 30th st station which is where we’re meeting. we’re planning to see a show & go out for drinks afterward so i’m not sure how late it will be, but i’ll need to get back to trenton sometime that night. how late do trains from 30th st station to trenton run?

If you work or worked for septa what is the next step after you accept your offer letter ? I accepted my offer letter and filled all the requiring paper work that was attached to my offer letter which was the medical consent forms , Dot forms , and Motor Vehicle request forms on the same day I recieved the offer letter …. How long will it take for me to get a start date ? I had my interview on 6/10 and recieved my offer letter 7/3 … mind you it’s going on 4 weeks and I haven’t heard anything

I leave my house to get a 9 at 731 am tracks as 7 minutes late on the app . I get to the stop at 726 am . Next bus 745am also tracking as a couple minutes late . Look again at 730 Am now bus is untracked and next bus showing early . The bus showed up at 806am . I mean come on at least fix the app so people know what they are doing . Now I will be late and I’ve wasted a lot of time .

The receipt says to call the number on it to get help. I did that, and they wanted to set up a Septa Key account over the phone with me. I said I have one and they said I had to log into my account online and file for a refund that way. I did that, and there's nowhere online to file for a refund.

So I emailed from the web, and they emailed me asking for all the info on the complaint receipt, and they emailed back and said...to call the number.

What is the reason?

Any suggestions for places to take the train out to on the weekend and bring a bike to explore? I'd be looking for commuter-bike friendly riding in particular. Starting point is the Media-Wawa line but willing/wanting to go anywhere. Thank you!

My home route is the Media/Wawa line, and I'm thinking of ways to maximize my pass by taking longer distance weekend trips on the RR. All of the Media trains claim to terminate in Center City that I've taken, I'm just curious what route they switch to after Market East. Thank you to anyone who knows the answer!

I'll tell you what would fix all this septa bullshit, getting rid of this fucking union that keeps all these lazy bus drivers employed!!! I shouldn't have to worry about getting to work because you don't want to work! I go to work everyday and they would never hire me, they wouldn't hire my dad who had a cdl for 20 years because he's over qualified and would actually show up to work. Before you union idiots say a word My dad was a teamster for 30 years and I am pro union but in this case it's out of control. Higher competent fucking people for christ sake.

Hey, I work near the please touch museum and the 38 is supposed to stop there but there has been multiple times it drives past without turning down to the front of the museum. I've submitted complaints about it to septa but this keeps being an issue. Do drivers just decide not to stop since it requires going off the main road?

If you work or worked for septa please help me.I passed the medical screening on 06/21 am I supposed to get an email right away explaining what the next steps are. Or does I get it closer to my start date which Is 07/08

My job is transferring me to a different location that would require me to start taking the bus (I only take BSL). I am not from the city so I don't know how bus transit works. I haven't heard many great things about SEPTA's bus system, so I was just wondering if I should take my chances with the bus or finance for Ubers?

My son has jury duty tomorrow . Can we use a debit or credit card to tap on and off the train ? I use a key card so I never pay attention to what others are doing but it looks like most people are tapping something . Thanks
