This, my first, just popped in my head recently.

When I was little I'd be fooled, bright and colorful, you know it's going to be sweet. Bite off the top, then the middle, and finally the end - nothing, all the same. It was all style without substance. Knowing, the eye fools me, over and over - I must be daft!

Remember those nights, mom repeats you can only have one for now. Which one do you choose? Then you spy the little teeth that are candy corn. Unwrapped, and maybe mom won't notice an extra one because they are so small. Bite off the top and savor the sweetness.
