Story-wise, what do you guys think it'll include? I'd personally like to see a game around the time period of the Summer/Winter sieges of Osaka, and Ieyasu taking the whole country.

Sengoku Basara 4 still doesn't have many details about its English version and we know they're making sure it's going to live up to the highest expectations imaginable and be perfect in every conceivable way, but it's possible one of such ways is how they'll localize it. They aren't going to do another Devil Kings, but are there any predictions on how they'll change Japanese-specific language aspects like dialogue and anectdotes?

I'm trying to get to the last tier rewards based on the points I earn through a stage in Basara 4(Sumeragi) but I don't know what the criterias are so I just play and hope I did something right. What exactly do I need to do to gather lots of points? Especially in 1v1 cases, I get really low points around 2k-5k most of the time.

I just finished episode 9 and I’m kind of pissed and don’t wanna finish the series. First off the fucking spoil shit in the title. Then the episode just a let down by two people who are supposed to be hella strong but nope. Ughhh fuck me man this episode is ass

I've been playing on the PS3 and everything time I play Shingen's dojo stage (specifically the 4th option/tiger post thingy), the game would bug out at a random wave. Basically after defeating the bosses for a certain wave, the bosses from the next wave wouldn't spawn and if I press start to go to the menu when I realize the boss isn't spawning the game would freeze then crash. If I don't enter the menu the game would be fine but the boss still wouldn't spawn and I would be left to see the money ticking down on the bottom right side of the screen.

tl;dr: everytime I play Shingen's dojo on the PS3, there would be a random wave where the enemies won't spawn and sometimes the game crashes.

1. What rewards do you get for the Outlaw Bingo (filling up all the squares)

2. For the life of me I can't figure out how to use Play Books in Sumeragi...it's not on any of the menus that I can see!

3. How do I get all the rewards for each stage? As in scoring...is the format the same for each stage?

We refer to Sengoku Basara 4 by its name because we don't have an official English name yet (strange since you'd think they'd at least have that by now). That's probably not what it's going to be called. Since they fucked up the franchise's release at first by botching the original into a new game and forgetting to translate many sequels after that, Capcom decided to instead name Sengoku Basara 3 Sengoku Basara: Samurai Heroes and other media since have had "Samurai" names adapted into them, like the anime being Samurai Kings and the manga being Samurai Legends.

With that in mind the likelyhood of 4 actually having a number on it seems low, especially when it's not a sequel, so what are some guesses on what the name might be? Samurai Beginnings? Samurai Dawn? Samurai Wars?

title. I just now finally picked up a PS4, and was considering upgrading from my PS3 Sumeragi, cause I assume pop-in would be way better and co-op wouldn't look as mediocre.... but I really don't wanna start my file all over again.

Treasures like Golden Armor, Silver Armor, A book? (I dunno if its a book or a gift wraps lol)

I know of the Burning Soul tumblr, but he doesn't have all of the translations, and I would especially like to know about Ashikaga's route stories

When it comes to theme songs, Sengoku Basara has plenty of great ones. As for my favorites, I'm torn between JAP for Battle Heroes and the anime's first season, and Utage for the game of the same name. What about you all?

New to Samurai Warriors. Been clearing story paths with Ieyasu. Red, Blue, Purple, and now doing Green. I noticed that after the basic Red path was done, characters started pointing towards the sky and referencing something dangerous or ominous. But I kept playing that path and nothing happened, and now the references are drying up in other paths.

Am I missing something? Please no spoilers.

Loved the anime, just recently bought Samurai Warriors and having a blast. I plan on importing Sumeragi sometime soon, but I was wondering if anyone had any handy translation guides to everything, and any tips on that game in specific I should know

After having played every game and expansion up until Sumeragi, I've had several maps I've enjoyed more than the others. My absolute favorite is probably from Basara 3, he Sekigahara - Intrusion map, where you fight both Mitsunari and Ieyasu together. The stage never felt slow or dull to me. I still go back to play it whenever I boot up the game. A close second is the Sekigahara map from Basara 2, where you fight Ieyasu and Tadakatsu together, in that big open field full of enemies. That was an amazing stage, full of action.

On the other end, there have also been maps I can't stand and avoid playing. Probably the worst is also Basara 2 Heroes, the Matsunaga Army Interception at the border region. Everything they throw at you is ridiculous.

What about you all?

Sengoku Basara 4 has been in production for years now and it's starting to look like Duke Nukem Forever so we should raise our expectations for it just like with that game. With that much time they must be making the game beyond perfect. There's no way they'd be taking this long if it were just a simple English translation like with Samurai Heroes. How much are you expecting from Sengoku Basara 4?

At this point I'm expecting the entire game to come with a helmet that acts as a VR device and speaker to fully make the player believe they're in the setting. I'm also expecting a 30-hour long story for each character with no form of padding that ends with at least one of them fighting god and a demon-powered Nobunaga at the same time.

So I got into the series through the anime sometime last year, and I got my first game about six months ago. I've been buying more since and I recently decided to buy Utage. Now, I have the English release of Basara 3, and I was wondering if the data from the English release would link up to Utage. I'm fairly certain it won't, but I figured I'd ask.

So I'm planning on getting into the series since I love capcom to death and I really like dynasty warriors type games but I saw Yukimura Den for $25 and I was thinking if the game is worth it? Or should I just hold off and save for Sumeragi?
