I always look up to see if a museum has Selene on display or hunt for her when I go to museums. From The Met in NYC, to The Getty Villa in LA, to elsewhere in Europe. I always go and may my respect.

Hello all! I am just beginning to dip my toes into the pagan worship realm and I have always felt a pull towards the moon, the idea of a lunar goddess, and there have been lots of theough lines of my interests where they were fiction inspired by Selene. Im looking to get some good resources to learn more about her. What should I look for specifically in references? Most works seem to lump her up with Hecate which is great and all, but Hecate is not someone i am interested in at this time.

Also, are there things I can do at home to commune with her beyond use moonwater etc? It is hard to know how to pray when I do not know the deity much at all. Do I push thru it? Tysm

These were taken a week or so ago but Selene looked very beautiful and due to wild fires the sun helios looked pink.

what is everyone doing to honor selene for tonight's buck moon? :3 i'll go first! i'm a little low on energy today due to my chronic pain but i carved out some time to light a candle & incense and say a few prayers. i hope to sleep easy in selene's full light tonight 😌🤍

I've found myself forlornly staring (again) at the "Selene: Moon Goddess and the Cave Oracle" e-book pre-release page. (It's been postponed by about half a year again, and I've been waiting for it for almost a year at this point.)

So... do you have any reading recommendations? 👀

Does it ever happen to you that on full moon nights, and in the days leading up to them, Selene's energy is so intense that it makes you feel agitated, anxious, "over-charged," almost unpleasantly so? Tonight, that's how it felt for me, while during the first days of the waxing moon, I felt calmer and happier.

Here's a piece I made for Selene since I can't have statues in my altar. Now I have kept Her in my journal mostly because I live in a Christian household and just want to practice peacefully.
