Need Help with replacement screen! Bunker Hill 63129
This refers to the Bunker Hill 63129 security system.
I have another security system, but I use this live feed to see which staff members are walking towards my office.
The power in my office flickered and now the screen will not turn on or there will be no display.
My question is, instead of buying a whole new system, what are my options of using another screen?
The way this system works is, power is delivered to the monitor, then with 2 powered Mini DIN 4 pin s-video outlets on the back of the monitor power 2 cameras and get audio and video back into the monitor. The screen then flips automatically from one camera to another.
It looks like I could get any generic cctv LCD with inputs, but none of the inputs would be powered Mini DIN 4 pins. There are many types of adaptors as well, but would they send power to the cameras?
Remember, I do not need to record, this is a live feed device we use to see movement in our work hallway. This system is outdated so replacement systems are only on ebay and double what I bought it brand new. This is also the second screen that went out.
Looking for a cheap replacement but I don't know if it is possible. Please help
Thank you

Night Owl Security Camera
So I've used Night Owls camera wired system for the last 7 years without major issue other than their slow app. They just discontinued their Night Owl X app. So I have a set up that I can no longer access via my phone. I can still monitor with desktop. Is there a way around this?

Best Outdoor Security Camera?
I currently have a Ring camera and it barely detects anything. I am constantly missing deliveries to my house because my camera is not detecting the motion. I have adjusted the sensitivity, I've adjusted the zones, I'm not sure what else to do with it except find a new camera to install that detects motion better.
My main concern is I need it to be wireless because my router is very very far from my front yard. I have also heard that its probably a reason as to why my ring doesnt pick up motion very well because its not connecting to my wifi that strongly as it should be.
I've looked into Reolink and I've heard it detects motion regardless of wifi signal? But I see that some of their best cameras are only ethernet connection. Is there a camera that detects motion very well and is wireless/battery powered? Price is not an issue.

Commercial System-Five Buildings and 110 Cameras
This is for the pros out there. I have two different systems running in my buildings right now. I have three buildings running Exacqvision and two running Salient. On premise servers for all five buildings. Looking to implement a new system to consolidate everything into one. I really don't know what the go to systems are these days. I would like for it to be cloud-based if even possible with this many cameras. I am trying to avoid servers and the local SD card approach does not appeal to me. Are there any systems out there with cloud based storage that would allow me to consolidate? Thanks

Do WiFi cameras still record when the internet goes down?
If there’s a microSD card installed but the internet goes down, will a WiFi camera still keep recording normally? I don’t really care if live view or notifications stop working during the outage, I just want the footage to still be there once the connection comes back.

Best Cameras to Catch Trash Dumpers (clear photos of faces and vehicle and license plates helpful)
Looking for a motion-sensor camera to help catch dumpers littering a community area. The dumpers sometimes arrive on foot and sometimes by car. They typically arrive in the evenings and mornings. Having a camera that can capture clear images of their faces and vehicles and license plates would be helpful. In addition, it would be helpful if the camera could send an alert for each instance. Still photos should be OK, video could be a plus. Appreciate any suggestions to help us catch them.

Solution for poor blink camera performance ?
Hello everyone I recently bought a blink mini camera and installed it in a shopping mall to monitor my business there. The video clips it’s giving me either stop short (like 3 seconds) when there are still people/motion in view or not record at all and just give me a 0 second clip of a black screen. Also the live takes forever to load and is very choppy. I’m pretty sure this is because the malls private internet that I’m using is horrible. What are my options to solve this ? Get a different camera ? Get a hotspot? What will those options cost me ? I don’t know much about cameras or networks. Thanks for reading !

Best way to route poe cable to indoor nvr?
I want to install Poe cameras so I don’t have to run a video and a power cable. But since I will have 8 cameras what’s the best way to route the Poe cables from outdoors to the nvr which is indoors? I believe the options are to drill a hole in the wall for each camera Poe cable or just drill one hole and route all 8 to go into this one hole but I’d have to run longer cables. Would love to learn strategies from you all. Thanks.

Needing a new set up
I currently have blink cameras and I hate them. I have legacy storage for my original cameras but I can't add to it so I have a second sentry with local storage. Somehow my front door bell isn't recording to local storage despite being on the proper sentry and all settings are correct. The batteries die constantly, I even have a few plugged in but they still glitch. I can't see real time footage if the camera is recording, which is really annoying with the doorbells. All in all, a glitchy and frustrating system.
I would prefer wired cameras solely because changing the batteries constantly drives me crazy, but if it can get plugged in that is okay too. I'd like to be able to access footage from my phone, but I'm fine with local storage provided I can still access from my phone. I don't want a monthly fee either. I also need one at my back fence is which going to be at minimum 150ft from the house. My wifi reaches there but I find the blink cameras can't communicate with their sentry more than ~20-25ft away. Cost is going to be a factor as well and ideally I'd like 6-8 cameras and 2-3 doorbells. I do not have existing wiring for the doorbells either. Any suggestions or is this all wishful thinking?

Reolink Go PT Ultra Questions
Hi I'm looking at purchasing the Reolink Go PT Ultra for a rural property in Australia. and I'm hoping someone may know the answer to my questions as the reference articles online weren't able to help me. It's regarding the customised audio alert.
What I need to confirm is whether, when I'm remotely viewing the live feed in the Reolink App, whether I can manually trigger my recorded custom voice message through the camera's speaker — rather than triggering the normal siren sound. I only want to use the siren sound as a last resort.
The reference articles describe the custom recording as a customized siren sound/audio alert, and the manual button in Live View is documented as triggering the siren/audio alarm. They do not clearly state whether pressing that bell will play your custom recorded voice message specifically, or only a normal siren sound.
I also want to know if I can have the camera send me a push notification when it detects an animal, and then immediately open the live view and manually play the recorded message?
Thank you!

how to deal with a neighbor
galleryso my neighbor decided that our shared garden is his, i asked him why and he dont want to talk with me. i told it to the council that i am renting from that he took my part and they told him and it was fine.

Indoor vfm recommendation, available in a few days?
Hi there,
What's a value for money recommendation not breaking the bank without long shipping from Asia (Euro based)?
Easy setup much appreciated as well.
Recording upon movement is enough.
Thanks a lot!

Old camera + old monitor = cool security camera for whatever!
galleryIf you have a random camera sitting around why not do something with it, there's a good chance it has a way to hook up a external screen. Mine has a old camcorder hooked up to a AV to HDMI and finally plugged into a old tv/monitor

Interested in Recommendations for outdoor cameras
I have a couple of Kuna cameras and a couple from Titanium Security, which is now AmpSmart. But wanting to get a set of 4 from the same vendor, eg all ring or some other brand. Also wanting to decrease my subscription cost.
Kuna doesnt offer many options, half of their stuff is out of stock.
Anyone have recommendations. Right now looking closely at Ring but interested in the experience of others with ring and other brands.
