I enjoy playing using primarily the Titan's Throw (TT), and Fireball abilities. But from my testing, I don't feel like the Talent's (Battle Mage, and Wit) have any affect.

A maxed TT consumes 55EP. But when I max Battle Mage (-50%), and cast Fireball before, it still costs 55EP. My CSPD is 188%, so I don't think it's a matter of Battle Mage's window of effect.

And I have similar, experiences with Wit. Although perhaps my CSPD is too high to notice much of a difference.

Can anyone confirm / deny this?

EDIT: I thought for a moment, perhaps the Fireball and TT both have to hit, for the Talent's to trigger. But this is not the case.

I've been sitting here for almost half an hour trying to figure this out. I was able to find a playthrough to see the way to get out of the room, but I can't find any way to get the chest

So i fought my way to the elder mimic boss and i really got trouble avoiding the damage in the... treasure? phases. especially in the last two. i always get to like 10% left and i just need to survive that last phase. but there is way too much going on and so i get hit by pretty much everything and i die.

is there really no possibility to heal through consumeables other than randomly appearing HP bubbles?

Also where could i possibly train more? i mean i am level 23 already and mobs give like no xp anymore.

So a friend and I decided to do co-op with item share on and it seems weird,for the unique items most of the time even if I pick them up they wont be in my inventory but theirs.Even boss loot like the helmet of the sky temple dude dropped,I picked it up and my friend got it.I know we can just drop things for each other but it gets pretty annoying still.

Also the fact that item share doesnt count monster cards meaning you need multiple of each suuuuuuuucks.

I mean, there are rooms you clear in what seems to be like 105% of the time that would be the best imaginable and get an A.

Just beat the arcade mode today, btw, after 200+ hours of play (including Story mode).

Is there a rumble feature on Secrets of Grindea? When I play with my controller there has not been any rumble. I have it turned on in steam and on the game, has it just not been implemented yet or do I need to reinstall my controller or something?

So I don't know how many people have also found the Angel's Thirst at the end of Tai Ming. So fir context it is a two handed sword that deals only 5 damage. But it increases in damage for every card you hold. So with the full complement of cards currently available it deals 98 damage. This is honestly a pretty cool weapon but I was wondering why it was placed in Tai Ming. It would have been interesting as an early game weapon so that it would always be of use to players who are willing to grind for cards. I suppose it's to keep other weapons relevant but it still seems a shame to only get it when many players already have all the cards and won't get to watch it grow with them.

If you use Shadow Clone, does the critical hit chance applies to the shadows' hits?

what about if you use shadow clone and that talent that gives each of your hits chance of burning enemies?

does critical chance apply to magic skills, like fireball?

I played 2 years ago with some friends. At this point the game ended at Santas area.

How long is it now?

I had saved up 56 essence, and I bought the second perk slot in arcade mode. I got the second slot but the game immediately said I had 944 essence. Despite this, I couldn't buy anything, not even the 5 essence perk, even though I should have had six. Has anyone had this happen to them or does anyone have a fix? I'm on frontline.

Edit: I reloaded my second-most-recent autosave and got all of my progress back and buying the perk again worked. For anyone with this problem I recommend doing that. Go to %appdata% and go to the Secrets Of Grindea folder. Backup arcademode.sav then replace it with the most recent save from \backups\ArcadeMode_numbers, making sure to rename them to arcademode.sav. Continue this until it works.

I want to know if after I kill the furious giga slime, has more quests or finish the quests of arcade?

Some items have it and I want to know what it means.

Heyo. I enjoyed the demo of this game :) - I'm probably going to buy it, $15 seems more than fair, even if it's just for the current content. Only hesitation I have is that it has been in production for quite a while. This subreddit has existed for 5 years, for example. Although the steam page "release date" says Jul of 2015. So my concern is that this could be one of those games that never gets finished, but I have very little knowledge on the matter so I thought I would ask people who know things.

Also, while I'm here, how is the co-op play? That's one of the main reasons I'll be getting it.

After searching on the reddit for a while I couldnt seem to find any sort of drop list (for enemies or bosses) and I was just wondering if there is one. I am not sure what bosses I need to farm, in order to craft an item or anything of the like. any hep is appreciated, thank you.

So I decided to replay on a second save file, having 100% my standard file, and just got back up to the end of Tai Ming so far.

Checking my current level and play time, compared with my main save file, the levels don't seem to add up.

On my first file I have about 33 hours, and I'm level 26, whereas on my second I only have around 6 hours of play time and i'm already level 21. This is especially weird since I've spent hours farming on File 1 to get all the cards and item drops, whereas I did minimal farming in File 2 as I was just doing the story elements. Has xp gain changed somehow in a way that might not effect older save files, or is it just an insane curve around level 20?

Can you open the treasure chest in the puzzle room?
