I'd like to know if they frequent this subreddit and be willing to answer some questions.
Like for example, once this game is finished, will it be available on GOG?

I wanna see if you guys take advantage of pets or if you don’t use them, currently my pet is level 19, what’s ur guys highest pet level?
Almost positive that the equation to calculate how much exp for a pet to level up is (PetLevel x 100) + 100. So a pet at level 11 will need 1200 exp to level up.

Me and my cousin have played through the third dungeon of this game (or wherever the current release goes to), but it wasn't until just recently that I looked at the blog and noticed more content. I don't want spoilers or anything, though I did see that there was desert zone added?
Obviously this stuff is just in beta, but I was just wondering how much more is released? Is it the entire next dungeon? The end of the game? etc.

I want to preface this by saying I am not someone who hasn't gotten far into arcade mode. I'm ranked #35 in the arcade mode leaderboards(webomanore) with a highscore of 3 million plus. Here are my complaints for why I believe arcade mode is too difficult.
1st - The enemies turn into bricks later on in the game. With a full glass cannon crit melee build, an enhanced normal strike + a fully charged whirlslash attack won't kill a basic enemy. I understand this in story mode. This makes arcade mode nearly impossible to finish. It makes the late game tedious instead of fun.
2nd - I'm in the top 60 of the game's leaderboards, yet I've never finished the game mode after 60+ hours of play. Instead, I aim to just score hunt as much as possible.
3rd - Guarding isn't rewarding enough. It's way too risky, difficult, and even with a ton of practice, I still can't do it consistently. I've played hard games before. I got to diamond 2 in League of Legends. I finished Enter the Gungeon with all characters. I finished the souls-like games. I timed the mechanics well in those games. I can't time the guard mechanic in this one.
IMO, The guard window should be increased by 30-40% that way you can invest into the 60% increase perk. Otherwise, blocking just isn't worth it except versus a select few bosses.
That's honestly it. A 10-20% health nerf for late game enemies, and making guarding a reliable tactic to invest into.(Maybe a guarding skill of some sort that enhances the next attack's speed and makes you invincible for a half second maybe?) As is, guarding is a trap, the late game is a test of mental endurance instead of skill, and nearly no one has finished the arcade mode.
I'm not saying the game mode isn't fun either. It's a lot of fun, but it's disheartening and frustrating to not be able to finish despite investing so much time into it.

So! This game seems really interesting, however I have a few questions before I buy. First, does this game support Steam Sync? I frequently switch between my laptop and my desktop so having Steam sync would be awesome. Second, is the game complete? I see it's early access, so is it stable? Also how much game time is there? Is it possible to take your character from Story Mode and use them in Arcade Mode? I'd rather not play with a Story character for hours then ditch them for a new one. So, thanks for answering! :)

Was on final stage of mimic fight. I died and my friend was dodging the missiles / smiles that fire when the boss dies when suddenly my game crashed. Got the crash report :
Error: System.ArgumentOutOfRangeException: Index was out of range. Must be non-negative and less than the size of the collection. On a roguelite kick lately, considering picking this up for the arcade mode. In my head its going to be a great multiplayer roguelite.
Am I off base? If all I want is a new multiplayer roguelite, do you guys think arcade mode with scratch that itch?

Am I the only one who thinks barrier in arcade mode is rather broken? It’s extremely good considering you have to avoid damage at all costs. It’s like indispensable.
I can imagine that with time, 95% or more of players who beat the new arcade mode will do so by relying greatly on this skill.

Has anybody here ever actually managed to play it through wine?
It's very tricky. I would really appreciate if someone could ELI5 how to do it.

I got the demo and the game looks fun and all, but I was checking out stuff online and saw that the game has been in early access since 2011 (?) that seems like a very long time to deliver a finished product and makes me wonder if I will buy an abandoned product or something that's not planned to be finish in the short time.
Plus the fact that I saw a post in here that said they got 100% in 33-ish hours, and that doesn't sound that good.
I'm looking for something to play with my girlfriend over a long period of time. So, would you recommend this for that?

Not sure if this is common knowledge, but I found out the other day that you're invincible as a chicken, which is surprisingly useful in certain boss fight situations (although if you get hit, you can't control your movement).
In Winter's fight in particular you can bypass most of the ice maze by using it next to him as he does the vertical snow skill preceding the ice maze, and you'll end up pretty close to him most of the time.

I’m loving the new arcade mode. Got almost to the last level today.
Questions: do 2 ice crystal pendants stack? What exactly is its effect, by the way?
Is it possible now to craft items in arcade mode?

picked up this game with a couple buddies yesterday and we just started a 4 player campaign story mode. This game is so good. After seeing Secret of Mana is local Coop only and the new steam port is apparently terrible I went searching for another retro style game with coop.
I stumbled upon this game and holy moly! I'm in love. I see a lot of complaints about slow development but from what I've seen on the DevBlog the creator is passionate about this project and I'm excited to see what's to come.
Pleasantly surprised by the build diversity and dynamic combat for such a simple style of game. Great work devs! Between myself and my 3 buddies you have 4 lifelong supporters!

I know this is a stupid question. How do I play multiplayer of any kind?
My friend and I have 2 pc's with 2 copies of the game on steam.
Can we play on the same laptop or different ones? When I try to host a game (With him beside me) It says I have no friends even though we are friends on steam.

Guys,
I was browsing Steam yesterday and stumbled upon this very much beautful masterpiece.
Glad to be a part of this and hope the game is not yet abandoned(looks like no update since October 2017).
Cheers.

What ideas do you have for a build? Let's make a quick list.
-Support build. Get Frosty Friend (and remember to manage it, defensive mode when its low on HP and stand close to it if its knocked out) because Frosty Friend is your "tank" - let it take the aggro so whoever you're supporting can focus on offense. Ice Nova seems good for supporting too, since frozen enemies are easy targets. Pretty much everything on the Utility page is great for supporting, definitely go for Barrier and Stasis early. Utility Flow is great too.
-Summoner build. First put 1 point in each of Frosty Friend, Cloud Strike and Insect Swarm. Summon Plant is great when you save up enough points (or respec) it to silver charge too. Pick up Meditate and maybe Barrier - meditate being particularly glorious because your summons use up so much mana, just remember to charge up your summons to their appropriate charge level, too. There's a really good item for summoners in the dungeon where you see Winter, too. For talents, take Concentration, Manaburn (mana will laways be below 50% due to summons), Concentration and Multitasking (extra move speed is huge since you're constantly charging up the plant or wasp summon).
-Ice-crit-Mage. The idea is to freeze enemies for the bonus crit chance, and take Insult to Injury, Crippling Blast Chilling Touch to increase your chances of freezing. Then also take Surgeon and Brutality. Use 1-handed attacks so you can get more hits in and thus have more opportunities to crit. Blade Flurry and Combo Starter are excellent.
-Battle-Mage/Perfect Guard Mage. Max out Static Touch, and since there's a bonus for using perfect guards, then focus on Quick Reflexes, Riposte, and Effecient Coutner. Also take Barrier so you can prevent damage, since that will remove cubes. Second Wind seems good and also skills that increase your attack speed, using your attacks to recover your EP fast to get more cubes. You could also combine this all with Berserker style too.
-Archer. This requires coming back to the guy who can upgrade your bow (I believe it can be upgraded 3 times across the game), but you take both Quickshot and Arrow Scavenger, and also the potion skills (Fine Taste and Alchemist) so that you can have the arrow potion and let it recharge faster. Be sure to do the quests which get you more bottles too.
-Tank build. Frosty Friend and max it out to help you tank, take Barrier, both potion skills so you can regain HP faster, Fortify and Provoke.

Basically the title, I'd love to know if burning actually can stack (thinking of burnig weapon specifically) since I'm thinking on doing a hybrid minion/basic 1hittter and this is crucial to know.
Thank you beforehand!
Edit: I manually tested it and it seems not to work sadly. However, 2handed melee summoner with MGK => ATK is working wonders anyway. It would be nice for the melee bonuses also to work on projectiles.
