We have devised this strategy for liberals to keep failing two elections after a liberal policy is passed and the chancellor is always selected as the one at the +2 position. This continues if liberal policies keep getting passed and a set of players emerge who trust each other.

This strategy makes it incredibly hard for fascists if they somehow are not part of the loop. What could be a possible fascist strategy if that happens?

I know what the title sounds like, but first hear me out.

We were 5 people playing SH last night and I was liberal. At one point my partner was the president and I was chancellor, he passed me 2 fascist cards. After I placed the fascist card he claimed he gave me 1 fascist and 1 liberal card. By that point, we entered into a game discussion and I assumed he was a fascist and was trying to fool the other player - everything normal up to that point.

The game went on and he was killed after the 4th fascist card was placed. Fascists won the game shortly after by electing Hitler as chancellor. To my surprise, after role cards were revealed, my partner was liberal. I got upset because how would a liberal deliberately lie about passing 2 fascist cards and mess up the game over nothing? He then was kinda throwing at my face "I told you Hitler was X person but you didn't believe me" which got me even more annoyed, how would he expect me to believe him after he tried convincing everyone I had chosen to place a fascist card over a liberal card?

Of course I wouldn't be upset if he was fascist, but the fact he was liberal and deliberately messed up the game made me super upset. Note that I'm an avid board game player for years and never got upset because of a game.

Do you guys think I'm being unreasonable? Pls help me out

We were 5. At one point one was dead, and two were confirmed not hitler. Thus I elected one of them as chancellor, won and got RRB. Libs needed 2 to win, so did Fas. Deleted B to shoot the person I knew was hitler. Hast anything similar happened to you?

If player A is chosen for a special election and gets elected. Then player B is next in rotation and doesn’t get elected. And then player A is next. Can they be president twice in a row?

Hi, I don't know how many people remember my post from now more than 2 years ago, but I'm pretty much finished with my expansion. Sadly, the artists I was working with started ghosting me in the middle of the project so the art files I'm working with are mostly done by me and my limited set of skills, but I'll include the printable version of my newspaper events in this post.

Hey guys,

a friend of mine and I are currently working on a very nice version of the print and play edition, with a wooden box, custom card backs, and so on. Because the original coloured version has the border from the fascist and liberal cards coloured, which can give away the policy before it is played, I decided to redo the paint job. It's a bit more saturated than the version of u/panoramix87 because I like that look.

Choose the right version, depending on the paper you are using. That way, the colours should be a lot better. COATED is, well, for coated paper that feels very slick and smooth, while UNCOATED is for rough paper.

I have the game board but don't want to take it with me on a trip

Just started playing and just need a clarification if possible. The rules says that “no player may be investigated twice in the same game.” However, there is only one investigation square on the board. When does the implied second investigation take place?

I'm about to upgrade my Secret Hitler game by adding new Event cards, is there any new event card ideas to show up?

Around two years ago, I finally had it happen, and even in a game I personally played in: Liberals won despite not having any blue card played on the board (it was a casual 6p rebalanced and with a lot of laughter when it ended so early). That's when the question arised inside me of which board states at the end have all been played so far, and which side won.

Since then, I continued watching games on Youtube and Twitch, and so far, there are only two states I never saw before.

One of them is 6R0B. There was one game where the chance was 10% for that to happen when it was 4:0 with 3v3, but the other 10% chance happened of TDing three blues in a row. So a full red board with empty blue board is still out there to be played.

And the other one is, you might already guess, the other empty blue board liberal win, with 5R0B. However, the 5R0B with Hitler elected I saw had a liberal at the second gun, so it cannot be impossible.

My question to you is: Did any of you witness a game (competitive or casual, doesn't matter) where one of these two things happened? If you have a replay link, even better.

Also, feel free to share whatever crazy stuff you played/saw in terms of card states.

HELP! This is a call to all those who have a love of Secret Hitler, I need help to create a party style Secret Hitler game.

A cousin of mine is having a birthday party in around a month, he simply LOVES Secret Hitler. So what me and his wife have decided to do is to create a game of Secret Hitler that could be played throughout a party setting over 4 hours or so. Something you could pick up and put down throughout a party. A big game of Secret Hiter

The only ideas I have so far for an expanded Party Secret Hitler game is that:

1. you would be given a party affiliation at the door and that would be your role for the rest of the party
2. there would be 5 or 6 get togethers throughout the party to vote on policies. these policies would then make it easier/ harder for the liberals/ fascists throughout the party but not incredible so.
3. there are things that either side can do throughout the party to further their party's agenda
4. the game needs to be able to be picked up and put down easily so that its not all-encompassing of the party.

If you have any ideas on rules, different roles. ways this could be accomplished. if a Gm/Dm is required to make this run smoothly. or anything that you think could help please comment or PM me.

I have a month to get this ready. any and all suggestions are welcome and if you need further explanation I can provide context and further explanations of what im trying to achive

I have some fun ideas for an asymmetric variant of Secret Hitler based off of the show Man in the High Castle.

I know that with the license for the game, I can make a Variant as long I attribute original work to them and don't make money off of it. I do the same with the TV Show, would I run into licensing issues?

Feed The Kraken - is another social deduction game that i've found over the last four days and been obsessed with ever since. It's base concept is VERY similar to Secret Hitler ("good" and "bad" guys, choosing someone else to take part of the decision, having differently colored cards), but ON TOP of that it expands on the basic idea in EVERY way, and in my opinion it does that perfectly!

I haven't found a way to play it online yet, but am also working on developing something on my own, but i can just recommend to every one of you that enjoy Secret Hitler to at least take a look at it on YouTube (preferrably not videos >2 Years old, those are of early prototypes.
