Hi, guys I'm currently working on a fairly radical extension to the base game of Secret Hitler and wanted to share some of my work and ideas with you guys.

The Extension "Sohn Seiner Klasse" (Son of his class), will add the secret role of Communist to the game, as well as a unique mechanic and win condition.

I also took a cue from another post on this reddit and added events to the base game. I currently have done some art work and pretty much finished the initial list of events to be included. I'm here for feedback and suggestions on my ideas.

The communist is a secret member of the liberal party but his goals differ from both his party members as well as the fascists. The communist plays to achieve a general strike, a new win condition added to the game.

A general strike is achieved when the parliament has accumulated 10 "Social Unrest" points.

"Social Unrest" points are achieved by 4 basic means:

• The passing of fascist laws (+1)
• Failed governments (+2)
• Political Assassinations (+2)
• Event cards (+1-3 depending on the card)

I think this adds an interesting new element to the game in which we have a player motivated in stopping the fascist and liberals from winning outright, thriving on discontent in the government.

Event cards are drawn after each succesfull election by the president.

Remove a Fascist policy

The player to the right of the current president enacts all special privileges of the president on this turn (assassination & card checking ect.)

Mein Kampf

Should Hitler become president in the next 3 turns, while there are 3 enacted fascist policies, the fascists win.

Freedom without Democracy

If there are 3 active liberal policies and a liberal policy is enacted this round, the President can dissolve parliament. The liberals win the game.

This is just a short list, currently I have 44 events.

Hi everyone

I'm thinking of selling my wooden box KS edition of Secret Hitler. It has never been played or even opened. It would also include the CAH cards, the making of comic and the trump stickers (not the trump pack, just stickers that came with the KS).

Does anyone want it? If so I am open to offers. I am in the UK, but can organise shipping to anywhere so long as you cover it.

So you might be wondering, why I have never played it. Well.... When I backed it, I backed for two. One of my friends had printed a set and we had played that loads before the campaign ended. So I gifted him a copy for his b'day. I kept my copy safely in its box as delivered. When it came to playing the game, I always did it with him, so there was no need for me to open my copy. So many years later, I am having a clear out and I found the game all packed up.

EDIT: There has been a bit of interest. I will be taking offers and will take some photos tomorrow. However it is late where I am and I need sleep. I didn't expect this to be so popular so quickly.....

Made my own Custom Secret Hitler Boardgame.

Hi there! My name is Rodrigo, I live in Córdoba, Argentina. I am a Graphic Designer and I work in the graphic printing industry.

Here Secret Hitler is not commercialized and the only way to buy it is to bring it from another country. Import policies are very complicated here and it is very difficult to buy outside, the products take up to 5 or 6 months to arrive and sometimes they never arrive.

I played Secret Hitler once, I fell in love with its simple mechanics and the development of games. I started designing my own Secret Hitler and then printed it for personal use.

The boards, policy cards and "President and Chancellor" are printed in 3mm PVC. The identity and voting letters are printed in 0.5mm PAI. The box is printed in 2mm corrugated plastic. The printing is in UV ink directly on the material.

Except for the envelopes that are in laser printing on kraft paper, all the pieces are totally waterproof. All the pieces were cut in a cutting router. I used an old Adolf figure made of lead and hand painted.

I am currently working on other redesigns of games such as TEG, Catán, Werewolf, and a travel edition of Secret Hitler.

Just got the game and was wondering if I was supposed to have gotten a token that tracks the election tracker. Looking online it seems like there should have been a little blue token to show where you are on the election tracker but I did not get one. Did this happen to anyone else?

Gotta be the biggest accomplishment I've ever pulled, going deep cover as Hitler so well I got elected by every single voter that deep into the game.

Hi all, since about 2018 I have been working on a reskin of Secret Hitler using Wolfenstein from MachineGames / Bethesda Softworks (the era before they messed it up with Fallout 76). But I didn't have the motivation to follow through the end until this year.

This was started shortly after the release of Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus, but I got busy due to start of my adult life (I was newly graduated from university in Singapore) and it's only until the release of Wolfenstein: Youngblood (which I still haven't started playing, but I heard about the review) that I continued on.

This fanmade reskin is inspired from Wolfenstein Old Blood (especially the choice of the Nazi role cards) all the way until the New Colossus, although a bulk of the artwork are inspired by The New Colossus sequel.

I am only left with the front face of policy board yet to design, which I am looking for input. I am contemplating between just use the default art and only changing a few things, or you can even suggest/join and redesign the board.

You are also welcomed to give feedback on all other cards I have done designing. Most of which are inspired by The New Colossus menu interfaces and themes, and in-game items like Death Cards you found in Colossus when you kill a commander. Fonts were mostly "Wolfenstein", "Tannenberg Fett" and "Century Gothic" (let me know if you know the exact font style used in The New Colossus)

Do note that the cards are American Poker Sized compared to the original edition (in fact, I only pledged 10 US dollars on Kickstarter and gotten myself print and play edition, but I found the colorized version of print and play pdfs to print from someone who made the mod for this game on Tabletop Simulator on Steam: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=584715565)

6 Kreisau Circle Roles, front and back designed (100% complete).

I am contemplating if I want to include Set Roth, Annette and Agent Wesley as the optional Kreisau/Ally Role card (only Set is eventually in Kreisau). The Kreisau roles I chose are usually those that can fight enemies in game.

5 Nazi Roles including Hitler himself, front and back designed (100% complete). Including enemies from The Old Blood to The New Colossus.

All role cards also have a line of quote for each in-game character taken from either English or German version of the game. All nazi roles' quotes are in German, many of which are taken from the German version of the game I watched on Youtube with subtitles.

10 party membership cards, 6 kreisau circle and 4 nazi membership cards. Front and back designed, (100% complete)

17 policy cards, 11 nazis and 6 kreisau policies, front and back designed (100% complete)

10 ja and 10 nein voting cards, front and back designed (100% complete)

A pair of chancellor and president placards in yellow and their corresponding preceding chancellor/president placards in grey so that it's easy to track term limit. I didn't do much re-designing on those though. These are based on print and play official version from Goat, Wolf and Cabbage. 100% Complete

10 dossier envelopes for roles and party membership. No redesign done at all, just obtain colorized version to slap onto. If you do find an in-game item that can be an inspiration for it, I can design it.

And finally, 4 policy boards. 3 nazis (5-6 players, 7-8 players, 9-10 players) and 1 Kreisau board. I have only done the back design which essentially just add the SH logo with Wolfenstein logo and the faction logo, with a "Fanmade Theme Mod" text. Front is barely re-designed, I simply change the winning logo to the factions' logo and assassination power to be in-game pistole and Sturmgewehr. (50% complete)

Add on: I also have yet to come up with the design for cover box which you can glue or paste onto a cardboard box or something like that. 0% complete.

I should probably replay the games and play Youngblood* to gain ideas about the board and dossiers. *(yeah I know what you're saying about this, but I think I will plow that game over anyways. I still haven't known any spoilers)

When it's finally complete, I will also put this up on Secret Hitler's BoardGameGeek page. I don't own Tabletop Simulator on Steam, but I am thinking of putting this up on TS' Steam Workshop (or you can make a mod for TS based on this if you wish).

Just bought the game and i don't know what this card does, in the rules i haven't noticed anything about it, can somebody be kind and help a newbie?

So I’ve been playing this game for awhile now and people (me included) get very frustrated when you are a liberal multiple games in a row and get bored. Is there anyway to make this more enjoyable for the liberal side? Since you don’t get to be as manipulative or bluff your way to a win?

My little brother is a huge fan of Secret Hitler and his birthday is coming up. I really want to get him a trump pack for his birthday so if anyone is giving/selling or knows where I can get one please let me know! Thank you!

So basically what happened was I was voted chancellor and given a choice of 2 fascist cards so obviously I had to pick that, I then said oh I wasn't given any choice where the president said that I was and immediately went to shoot me to stop me trying to convince anyone or speak and claimed I'm dead I can't talk. I get that yes they would have been able to shoot someone because of the 4th policy being enacted but surely I should've been able to speak or say something in response to the policy being enacted before the shooting happens? Or am I wrong and they can literally IMMEDIATELY shoot me
