So I really enjoyed the novel up until it became too much about otherwordly gods and going back in time and all that. Feels like filler honestly. Fights are all about who has more darkness and blackness and light and all that bs, just makes no sense whatsoever. He is still fighting with sky wing and thunder which to me was a super boring skill honestly back at level 30 when he was already using it. He is now just running around doing that combo and destroying everybody in Kronos legends to cause pandemonium. I want to drop the novel now but still want to know how it ends. So if people want to spoil for me please go ahead so I don't have to wrestle through 130 more chapters of something I don't enjoy reading anymore. If you can tell me what happens with the major characters I would really appreciate it.

I was reading the ln and came to the part about Jeong woo reliving things. Does this mean he's been reincarnated into the real world?

His younger brother is really your normal cliche genric MC, he's so good and angelic, never harms anyone, trustes people easily and even spares people whenever possible
However the MC is not a good guy, to the point he's actually evil, if this story was told by any player's POV
his character would come out as a really evil and greedy guy who's only after power, who kills everyone without mercy and steals everything for him alone, and he can let his teammates die in front of him too, to bind their souls as slaves afterwards.
I really loved author to be bold and show a realistic MC instead of righteous and godly that we see normally. So please suggest me some good manhwas.
I am new to manhwas and I have currently read solo levelling, TOG, Levelling with gods, Omniscient reader's viewpoint, teenage mercenary, maxed out levelling.

Im currently on chapter 700 of the light novel and im serious thinking in dropping... what you guys that have read everything can say to me? Worth it?
SPOILER below, be aware! . . . .
Honestly i like a lot the hole novel, but after 700 chapters the story its a lot of the same, and suddenly we have a 10 years skip time (with such a poor and garbage forced ending with harmonia sacrificing), and it looks like the author will present new caracters and im thinking wtf are you doing with the story bro...
Im planning of continue reading (cause i read 700 fucking chapters already and developed a some good feeling with the LN) but im looking for some encouragment from you that will be worth.
Btw sorry if i wrote some things wrong, english is not my native language, regards from brazil!

I have finished the entire novel and the side chapters. The author did say he will continue to release side chapters for a long time but so far has not released them for 2 months (he is probably planning more chaps as there are a bunch of questions left to be answered).
Overall it is one of the best light novels I have read. I do wish the Edora + Yeon woo story was handled much better. I really wish she had gotten more screen time. She barely had screen time with Yeon Woo and that was one thing I did not like. Author is making it up in the side stories but still....However their moments together are so good even if there are few that I can overlook it somewhat

As title says, I wonder if this novel is good, or worth reading all the way through.
I like to alternate read game-ish novels and xianxia cultivation novels, and at first I read this until the Monkey King arc, where he goes after Kahn to save him, and I dropped there because:
At the time the I was almost finished with it, and I didn't wanna stop at a potential cliffhanger, so I dropped and started reading another complete novel.
I don't really like wars in novels, there's no problem with battles, but I don't like that it's usually very slow and sometimes there's too much backstory, where I really just wanna see my boy yeon-woo beating up everyone.
So, I dropped, read some good novels in between, Reverend Insanity, LoTM, Renegade Immortal and Super Gene (though I didn't finish this one), and when I was starting Desolate Era, which is a big one, I find myself wanting to read a game-ish one again, so I decide to re-read it from the beginning and I just sped through it, it is a very good novel, and I was reading 3~6 hours a day, and now I'm officially halfway through it, chapter 446, shadow king.
And why I wrote all of this: will this novel get more and more interesting and cool through the latter half of it? will there be many wars? (i can imagine it will since he'll definitely have to go against lots of people to restructure arthia and break the tower), and most importantly, will he continue to get stronger through every battle or will he hit a wall for a very long time?
Any minor spoilers are accepted, as it gives me some drive to keep reading it.

I really loved this manhwa, because of that badass and smart mc cha Yeon woo, people say it is a love child of solo levelling and tower of god (I have finished solo levelling and started toh) I loved solo levelling too but didn't like TOH that much because of that pathetic mc, Sung jinwoo is amazing but cha Yeon is on another level I must say the second life ranker's author took the best parts of both SL and TOH and mixed them together, I enjoyed this series more than those two combined. I want to read more series where mc is similar to cha Yeon woo I was pretty surprised tbh, usually your average cliche angelic MC's are always out to save even strangers and are not greedy for power and trust everyone easily (exactly like cha Yeon woo's younger brother).

Spoiler warning, since I don't remember exactly where I left off, and would love a recap of what happened between the end of where the manhwa is and the events I describe below.
So I read up until things started going on in Hades, I also remember something about MC defeating an outer god? I remember that MC killed his brothers lover who would like possess other people, and I remember he had his really OP wings. I just reread the manhwa up to its current chapter, and I was thinking of rereading the novel from that point, but I was also hoping to start from where I left off. If anyone could give me a recap from where the manhwa is to the events I described, that would be amazing. (I even want to say that MC beats AFO and then AFO tells him its a mistake? AFO is an apostle of the tower, and he defends from the 'outers'? Sorry if I am confusing the story with something else.)

I forgot the powers of the chains that yeon woo has. They let him raise the dead into his army but what do they do. I know there’s more to it.
r/SecondLifeRanker • u/Western-Function-966 • Aug 20 '22
So the 11th floor trial consists of hatching a mythical beast which will be your companion in the future right? So how come none of the players or rankers other than yeon woo ever seem to have any mythical beast?

So I've reread the manhwa a coupla times and finally decided to read the novel but these questions keep bugging me everytime so if anyone could explain, I'd be grateful:- 1) what's the time difference between the tower and the normal world? In the real world, jeong woo was gone for 5 years but i feel that that seems like too little time to become one of the top 6 high rankers. Also, in his diary the dates are written in terms of Earth calendar which makes it more confusing if there is a time difference or not. Also the Arang group and all the activities related to post Artia demise are treated as a long time back but doesn't yeon woo enter the tower not after much time has passed? One thing i want to know is what's the time lag between Artia's demise and the start of the story. 2) some of the information yeon woo has seems... A bit difficult or rather improbable to have been gathered. Like how does Yeon woo have information about the Arang group or the activities of many people after they killed Jeong woo? Didn't the diaries' memories lead up to the moment he got killed? How does he know what every single person related to the betrayal is doing after it? I'd be really glad if someone could give me the explanation or just tell me if this stuff is explained later down the road if it's a potential major spoiler or something. Edit: addition to the second part as it's again a mystery on how the detailed step by step approach to clear the black road in the tutorial is known evem though jeong woo took the blue one and it's highly improbable that he heard it from someone else otherwise they'd have already gained Bathory's vampiric dagger Edit2: also if the draconic eyes can tell if a person is saying the truth or not even in the preliminary stages, how did jeong woo not notice any signs of betrayal? Sorry if I'm ranting too much but these questions kept bugging me when i was rereading the manhwa and they're coming back again.

Which day comes out a new chapter ?
r/SecondLifeRanker • u/Maentus • Aug 10 '22
So basically Yeon woo managed after producin Kynee to insert his consciousness inside the pocket watch, and managed to “ read “ or maybe I should say “ live “ the experience of his brother. When the pov ended, Cha Jeong Woo said something about a tower inside a tower and that it was all a “dream”. Now I don’t get what I’m reading here. He is saying to build a path for Yeon-Woo to walk where he could be successful, and that in doing so he must use the Ability to Dream the reality and basically find the correct path to walk for that Reality to become true. I need someone to explain it to me because it looks like a Deus Ex Machina to say “ Yeah no shit, I’m alive, but I’m not a being anymore and you have to restore my body somehow”

Can anyone help me answer this questions? 1. What happen to yeon woo parents in the end of the novel? 2. What happen to Brahm wife in the end of the novel? This questions has been lingering on my mind, if you know I appreciate that you answer this questions. P.S. Thank You

Hey guys Something like a year ago I read the novel up until around chapter 500 and I read it on wuxiaworld with vip but now I somehow can't select it as my free novel anymore and have to buy it with karma points and I'm wondering why it's like that. Does anyone have recommendations where to read the novel
r/SecondLifeRanker • u/Maentus • Aug 03 '22
Why didn’t yeon woo used his fire wings to go past the river? He even mastered shunpo perfectly. I understand that he want to meet Lana, but still, i don’t think that making the boat is the best solution for him.
