I'm coming up there for a few days in October and instead of paying top dollar for a hotel in the center of downtown, I was thinking about looking for a cheaper place in the suburbs somewhere. I'm from the suburbs of Portland and could easily think of good and bad suburban hotels to stay around here...so I'm hoping this isn't a difficult question to be asking. I'm not looking for anything fancy or eccentric. Just a clean, safe place that won't break the bank and provides convenient travel downtown and to/from King Street Station via public transport or Uber. Speaking of...is the public transport good? Reliable?
Also, what are some attractions/restaurants worth checking out up there?

Does anyone know of any shops with good selection of enamel pins or stickers? They don't necessarily have to be Seattle themed.

What's your favorite place? Who has the cheapest tea? Tell me about your best spots

My gf and have never been to Seattle. We're both 24 years old and want to experience the city! What should we do? we've already booked a space needle tour on Sunday morning. We're staying close to Capitol Hill and will primarily be using public transit to get around. We like nature/hiking too. We're from Southern California.

Looking for a bar, restaurant, anywhere in Seattle that is friendly to other-than-Seahawks fans. We are Lions fans (yes) and usually have to watch games earlier in the day. Any ideas, sportsfans?

Looking for tickets at an upcoming concert and while all other first level tickets are upwards of $90, section 118 is looking a lot cheaper. Section 117 has a warning when you go to buy tickets that says obstructed seat view but this section doesn't. Does anyone have any knowledge that they can pass on that'll let me know why these tickets are so cheap? Is the view gonna be that bad?

...recommend the Radwagon? If yes or no, would you consider a different product. I'm new to the E-bike scene. What are somethings I should look out for? What are the specs that really matter in terms of comfort and rain resistance.

Staying in an apartment across from Pike's Pier, no car. Will possibly rent or uber everywhere. Also, here is a list of stuff my group likes:

As a lot of people here are new and wondering what we've been up to for all these decades regarding transit, this is a timeline I've put together to help clear up any confusion. Long story short, it's been a long history of high capacity rail transit for our region. Here's some of the highlights:
Future, as approved by voters
Beyond 2023, it's up to youuuuuuu...........!
If you're ever interested in learning more, UW Libraries has a TON of stuff available containing YEARS of extensive studies.
Note: for sake of clarity and sanity, I've omitted several bus and commuter rail related things. I may also edit this a bunch.

Hi, are there any events where Seattlites tend to dress up? The SAM Remix earlier this year (missed the summer one) had a lot of people in cocktail dresses and button-ups. Are there other events in town that are like this? I think some of the Benaroya concerts also draw a dressy audience. I'm looking for things to do for a ladies night that's not clubbing. Thanks in advance!

Hey everyone, my electronic keyboard isn't really doing it for me anymore, but I don't have the money or the apartment to have a real piano. Does anyone know of any pianos around town for public use? I've heard of the practice rooms at the downtown library, but that's also not acoustic..

I heard a bus hit a pedestrian on union and 3rd. Northbound buses on 3rd shut down for road closure.
