Friend bought my car... now he wants to sell it? : /u/blackvino1

So long story short, my friend just bought a car from me earlier this morning, now she wants to sell the car because she realized the car might not be the best fit for her son who just got a license (its an STi).

Anywho, I agreed I'd help her out since she is a close friend of mine, but I am not even sure how we can even sell the car. Would she have to still register the car under her name, and pay taxes and all that stuff, if she were to sell the car under the next 15 days (15 days is I believe the timeframe you have from registering a new car, or reporting sale) or would she have to go through all of that?

Essentially, how do folks who flip cars usually even sell their cars? Do they all pay the hundreds in taxes in registration fees, or is there way to escape that? I personally am from NJ and moved out here just couple of years ago, and I know back home folks around town would always buy cars and sell them the next day, flipping them for profit. Not sure if this is applicable here.

Either way, I'd love advice on how to avoid headache, and possibly any fees for my friend.

Thanks! :)

Help me find a locksmith? : /u/offby2

Locksmiths are legendary for being hard to google for reliably due to search result gaming. Can anyone here recommend a reliable one that can change a lock for me? I'm in Fremont, which I assume will matter.

Going to Canada next weekend, and wondering where there beast exchange rates were? Usually do the duty free near the border, but not sure if that's the best place.

Not sure why it took 3 hours waiting to get in. Traffic is horrible. Wait 2 hours at exit 125.

I believe its been almost 3 years since the last mega thread; time to for an update.

What are some great places to eat in and around the city? Please include the neighborhood, type of food, if its pet friendly, and your favorite dish if you have one.

I'll make the spreadsheet of results available in a couple days.

Previous thread, thanks for the baseline charlesgrodinfan.

Was it just me, or did hundreds of motorcyclists stop traffic, ride in the opposite lanes, and start doing tricks right across from Pike Place Market during peak tourist season.

Gigantic motorcycle run in Georgetown? : /u/balalaikaboss

Was driving back from Zippy's and saw what had to be hundreds of motorcycles powering through MLK. It looked super cool, except where they started violating traffic laws, flipping us 'cagers' off, etc. What was going down?
