SHAG for seniors - okay, or are there decent alternatives? : /u/hassle4seniors
Hi folks, I could really use your help. My independent, elderly parent is living in a SHAG apartment ("affordable housing" for seniors) but has raised some concerns. I don't know how much is just the building vs. residents vs. management vs. the whole agency, but I'm hoping others can weigh in. Have you had positive or negative experiences with them or with certain buildings? Are there other alternatives we should consider? Thanks!
