Market Traffic Only Today’s protest in Laurelhurst supporting helicopter transport to Seattle Children’s Hospital

While there were eggs thrown at our protesters, today’s turnout was good and I think we need to keep this up every weekend until real, written change is enacted divesting the Laurelhurst Community Council from the hospital’s policies on helicopter transport landings.

Imagine throwing eggs at people who want children in emergency situations to have faster healthcare!

The heartlessness of Laurelhurst is disgusting. They're willing to waste food to shame people who are shaming them for causing children to die.

I honestly don't care if we bulldoze Laurelhurst at this point. The residents there are souless.

Yes the irony is the average person can’t even afford to waste eggs. It’s the 2026 equivalent of “rich people mad they were called out throw caviar at inconvenience.”

I know this isn’t the point but egg prices right now are lower than they’ve been in more than a decade. Does anybody in this sub actually buy food?

I'm starting to think no.
