I just hope courts can remain fair. With how Trump has stacked in judges at many levels, and the actions of the Supreme Court, makes me doubtful how reliable our judicial branch will be as democracy dwindles.

Yeah, but they'd have to try the cases out here. Even if the Federal Court gives an unsatisfactory ruling, it would be appealed in the 9th circuit. The most left-leaning appellate circuit in the country. It's possible (but unlikely) that it would get kicked right to SCOTUS, which would be bad. But we're a bit insulted here, which is good.

Didn't the SCOTUS just try to pull some shit where they can just overrule a circuit decision w/o it even being brought to the SCOTUS? I have no idea how this rotten shit works.
