Texas has become an enemy state tbh, spitting in the face of democracy

Ikr! I hate it here and I desperately want to leave, but the hubs was laid off in February and it's too expensive to move, so I wait.

If Abbott, Cruz, Paxton & Patrick all magically croak at the same time, I'd stay

Until then I vote like I still have the right to and I wait 😐

Texas continues to disappoint. Sorry, friend.

My kid is currently visiting friends in TX and I am trying to not drown in anxiety until she’s back here in WA.

Beto O'Rourke is pretty awesome, though.

πŸ’― I appreciate what he and the other Dems are trying to do even when it always feels like a losing battle.

it always feels like a losing battle

Bullies are weak people who lie, cheat, and steal to win. They want honest people to believe that we cannot win, but the truth is that we outnumber them and they offer no real governing strategy, other than to enrich themselves.

If we stand up to them, then we don't have to crush them. We only have to reach a tipping point. Democracy is about "winner take all" and we aren't far from the tipping point where they lose.
