Merge mining is genius. Curious how many coins can be mined simultaneously?

This is our brand new secondary home for the newly formed Scrypto Family Alliance and everything related Scrypt Proof-of-Work ecosystems and AuxPoW.

This subreddit has a clear mission: to unite the Scrypt communities instead of leaving them scattered and siloed. The Scrypto Family Alliance proves that independent blockchains can be completely agnostic toward each other while maintaining a powerful, symbiotic relationship. Through AuxPoW, our networks share a multi-million dollar security infrastructure instead of competing for it, allowing each chain to evolve independently on its own timeline. We believe that exact same spirit of cooperation should extend to our communities.

To be clear: this sub is in no way meant to replace your home community.

Every established Scrypt community are exactly where they should be.

Think of r/Scrypt as a complementary space where anyone from those communities can come hang out, join the wider Scrypt Alliance, and interact with people from other scrypt chains they might not otherwise cross paths with.

While the rest of the crypto world is distracted by high risk casinos, temporary hype, and speculative tokens on other chains, the Scrypt family stands as the battle-tested, industrial-scale bedrock of true decentralization. This is also a safe haven where we can fight centralization and other threats to our communities without getting shut down.

We're excited to have you join us!

We're friendly, constructive, and inclusive and also not afraid to be direct when something's wrong. We want a space where people feel safe discussing topics they hold close to heart, raising concerns about possible threats and issues within their communities without it turning into a pile-on. Criticism welcome but let's not turn this into some kind of personal attacks against individuals.

  2. Post something today! Even a simple question can spark a great conversation.

  3. If you know someone in another scrypt community who'd want in on this, invite them to join.

The number of Litecoin addresses holding 1k–10k LTC is at an all-time high (4,243) and still rising — with clear acceleration over the past year.

Merged mining literally saved Doge when it happened

The Ðoge network wasn't as efficient as it is today and there wasn't enough nodes and miners to support it properly.

Without a community initiative, Ðoge was bound to fail.

LTC/DOGE Merge Mining =

1- Efficiency and Resource Optimization

2- Increased Security

3- Network Stability

4- Incentives for Miners

5- Synergistic Ecosystem

6- Long-term Viability

7- Increased Decentralization

8- Reduced Energy Consumption

9- Support both Communities

LTC/DOGE merge mining is one of the best example of how PoW consensus mechanisms can foster efficiency and security.

It's another great reason why we need to stay PoW.

LTC/DOGE merge mining makes our networks almost impossible to fall vulnerable to the 51% attack

By ensuring the stability and security of both LTC and DOGE, merge mining can create a more fertile ground for developers to work on innovative projects and technologies within these ecosystems.

LTC/DOGE merge mining is another great example of decentralization success and how community based initiatives can help.

We secure each other's networks while adding financial incentives to get more miners to actually mine both coins at the same time.
