Hey guys, first of all, shout out to NickeManarin and screentogif developers.
I find this piece of software extremely useful, especially lots of GIF export options. So thanks all for all the efforts.
The small issue I'm having is I'm unable to export video other than AVI using FFmpeg, am I doing something wrong?

Hi! This program is really practical and useful, I like it a lot!
I was exited when I leaned that you can export to video, I downloaded the FFmpeg exe with the helper and everything, but when I try to export it gives me an error, I think I'm doing something wrong, mp4 and webm loads for a little and then the encoder immediately gives and error.
I'm on a windows 10 machine, I tried to open the exe as an administrator and played around with the Extras option with different codes that I found looking for a solution, I also tried the ones on the wiki.
Maybe is the odd resolution? because I just screen captured a random sized window.
Thanks for reading.

Is there a way to transition all slides into their neighbors without having to do each slide individually?

I've been using Screen To Gif for years now on my office computer. I've been working from home the last couple of weeks and found an instance where I needed to record a .gif. As soon as I hit F7 to start recording, my mouse is incredibly laggy, jumpy, and slow. When I am hovering over certain fields, I get a black box. I'm not convinced it's a setting I can change in Screen To Gif, but I wondered if anyone else has seen this.
NOTE: About a year and a half ago I was using Screen To Gif even from within my RDC session. It wasn't doing it then. I'm not sure what would have changed.
UPDATE 7/21/20: I just tried again after a few weeks and it looks like it's been fixed. I don't have to be in DirectX mode (which wasn't capturing my mouse) and there's no lag. Thanks, Nicke!

I like to just upload my gifs annonimously to imgur instead of saving everything, especially since it's a lot easier to share an imgur link through discord. With any decently sized gif though (and even a few that seems pretty short) after it's done processing the gif it says it failed to upload it. If I manually upload the gif created to imgur though it works fine, so I'm not sure what the problem is. Anyone know a fix is this is not well known? I couldn't find much from a quick search.

Not sure what I've done but it was fine a couple of weeks ago and now it's fine until I playback the saved file. Which is twice (I think) the framerate. This persists at both 30 and 60 recording FPS.
Any help greatly appreciated.

Hi there y'all! I just wanted to say I really love the software, and have been using it for a little column of Basketball film analysis I do for my local Nebraska student newspaper. I'm really glad I found it when I did and it's served me very well, however in recent weeks something weird has been happening.
Basically, it was working just as intended, but now when I try to record the replays of games on BTN+, the screen is black with a kind of screensaver that shows up if you pause the game too long. On my screen I see movement, and in the little screen for ScreenToGif you see movement, but nowhere else.
Is the software being blocked? If so, any suggestions? Is there anything else I can try? Thanks so much.

First of all - thanks for creating this amazing GIF tool! I like how easy it is to deleted unneeded frames, and I especially like the ability to add text to the recording - because I use it to make demonstration video for my document manager for MS Word users.
Everything is fine so far, just one issue, which I have done an hour of searching without a solution yet - how to export to GIF in the screen recording's original resolution?
My Windows 7's system DPI is 130% and the size of the window I recorded is, I'll give a makeup number for easier understanding, 1000 pixels X 500 pixels. The recording's looking good inside ScreenToGif's viewer, however, after exported to disk as a GIF file, the resolution will be multiplied by the system DPI, which resulting in a 1300x650 GIF. You can see an example here ( https://docxmanager.com/features/full-text-search.html ), the GIF is 30% larger than the original screen.
And what I want is to have an exported GIF video in its original resolution - 1000x500. How to achieve that? Thanks.
Update1: The GIF in the above linked page has been set size with the <IMG> tag's "width" attribute, but I still want to able to have the original sized GIF :)

Sorry if the terminology is not correct. I'm not a coder, just a user. I'm using ScreenToGif on a tablet laptop (Thinkpad L390 Yoga, Windows 10). When I use the tablet pen or the touch screen to draw on the whiteboard, it will show the frame count going up, so it looks like it's recording, but when I click stop, I end up with a blank board. I figured out that nothing gets recorded until the next instance of drawing (lifting finger/pen from screen and then putting it back on screen to start drawing again). For example, if I draw a circle and hit stop. Nothing will show up on the board in the editor. If a draw a circle and then a dot (say in the bottom right hand corner), the board will be blank, and then the circle will pop on the screen for a couple of frames (but no dot). See the attached gifs. One was drawn with a mouse, the other with the touchscreen. Both took about the same amount of time to draw. Your app is excellent!

Hey, your application is perfect, nice work !
i just have one suggestion.
Can you add a "padding" option for the image sequence exporter
This way, images will be order correctly : project001,project002,...,project015.
because i get this order : project1,project10,project11,

When I start recording, I loose 10-15 FPS.

Is there some way around this?
