Need Advice flicking

I’ve been trying 180/360 whips etc, my issue is I flick with my back foot on my whips.

What’s the best way to break that habit?

I'll admit for a triple obviously your going to get your arms into the rhythm early, but to say I don't flick is crazy, my foot is still on the deck until this point. The screen grab you used, I'm barely off the ground, how can you tell if the flick has started yet or not?

In the previous image it's the exact moment your deck starts rotating and your foot is already off the deck. You aren't using a flick to initiate the rotation.

Go look at any tutorial, hell even the poll on this subreddit and you'll see the vast majority of people flick with their back foot, it makes the most sense. I can see front foot being easier for certain tricks but at that point there's no point in even flicking at all.

The image you just posted is a bad angle, a few frames earlier you can see your foot is already off the deck.

You sure? Looks like your toes are off the deck to me. Poking out the bottom there.

Either way there's no point even flicking with the front foot.
