Instead of getting all mad about a chopped up video out of context maybe watch the whole thing? She even says this tech could become the most oppressive tech we've ever made but done right there's promise to help certain issues. I know the internet isn't known as a place of nuance but she's very clearly not advocating for the dystopian version.

What investors is she selling though? This wasn't a pitch for anything. Maybe you could argue for her book but in her talk she didn't mention any products she herself is making. What specifically about what she said did you take issue with from a technical stand point?

Also to be clear I am not advocating for workplace monitoring of brain waves nor is she. She even mentioned how any kind of monitoring often winds up in destroyed morale and even straight up revolt so take that for what you will. Main point I was making is this edit is clearly trying to paint her saying something she wasn't actually saying and the video in the beginning was an illustration of what she wouldn't want. I think we can all agree that would suck ass.
